What Are/Have You Been Doing Today.?

I'm listening to Men At Work, good memories of hanging out with my brother.

I wii fit'd myself and it said I lost ten pounds since August 14th, I don't look any different so I don't know what thats all about.

Now I'm doing Spanish homework, using a lovely online translator because despite being in a previous Spanish class for ten months I essentially know 0% Spanish.
actually, erm... Yo habla un poco español. Leo un libros despues de las clases.
Thats about the extent I know without sitting for 20 minutes trying to remember, or heading over to babel fish.

I also wish google would calm down and stop throwing search results in my face before I actually search anything.

 

Inorite! One day I come home from work and it's like google turned into a kid with ADD... and a lot of information

I've got a funeral tomorow :/
For a friends dad who went missing in flood waters and they found his body a few days later.
Not too keen. I've only ever been to 2 funerals, both being friends parents.

Bit tired/cranky today, it seems M.E. is still in my system, no suprise but it's good to kow what my limit is. Doing glass blowing on mondays so need to sort my shifts out.

Got a box containing 1 metric fuckton of textbooks from the OU, turns out I'm doing an engineering degree or something like that.

Also according to the NAPIT girl on the phone, registering under part P (provided you have all the qualifications and calibrated instruments and such) consists basically of going out and doing a job with a couple of new circuits, and then they will come out and have a look at it, and provided it's upto scratch your in. So I may have to set up a business as well.

Im about to go up the road and spend 50 quid on stationary.

Saw Tom Petty and the heartbreakers / ZZ Top last night, very very good. Now I have to go to school (booo) and then it's off to dads house for the weekend.

 

Last night I went to karaoke with my girly friends and got drunkard. Ran into my ex boyfriend whom I fantasize about still and he admitted that he fantasizes about me...it was dangerous. However I was a good girl and nothing happened. Played horshoes with a bunch of strangers and I remember cheating to win and thats about it. Sang a bunch of Courtney Love songs. Then around 2 am I was so swilly that I felt like showing my boobs to random people....however thankfully thats when I realized I needed to go and again nothing happened. Went to Jack in the Box and feasted on onion rings and chocolate cake...then passed out. Woke up at 6 am for some reason.

 

Macro lens came in the post, first thing I did was take this photo of a spider on my kitchen window, I doubt macro photographing spiders will cure me of arachnophobia anytime soon. New lens is awesome

In related "this should really be going in a PM" news I went into jacobs which is 1000x better than jessops and they had this really nice sigma fast wide zoom (17-35 f2.8) I think, but I got them to try it out on a 7D body knowing sigma doesnt like cannon auto focus and it would not AF, so they are going to phone the area manager and see if they can get me an hillarious discount.

Also I brought a PS3 slim because it's payday and I was feeling sorry for myself.

I think I'm gonna get some Macro extensions at some point making uber macro even more uber.

DoF, I find is way more difficult to use at 2.8 than the fiddy at 1.4

 

Today was pretty much 'Compliment Sarah' day, everything from 'I like your bike' to 'I like your contacts' (I don't wear contact lenses, took ages to convince this boy my eyes were mine)
