I realize you weren't being serious...but I'm gonna address that... say you may (I do ) ascribe to that kind of thinking...even though someone may be forgiven, it does not mean they don't "pay" nor have to learn lessons. People who hide behind God and do hateful, horrible things pay a very, very special price, I believe...but that doesn't mean I believe they go to a lake and fry. Also, to be forgiven would never mean someone like F. Phelps is gonna be in the same mansion and wear the same crown(s) say as someone who is good of heart and didn't even go to church. I believe that those who take up the mantle of God best wear it carefully.
A quote from one of my friends: "I hope he has a gay nurse that wipes his ass, and openly comments about how old and wrinkly it looks."
Another quote from one of my friends: My sister posted this article with a paragraph about being a criminal defense attorney who has helped many unpopular people. She went on to say..."In my career I represent some very unpopular people. Some of them have done some horrific things. Even so, most of them are loved by someone- their Mom, Aunt, Grandmother, even a former teacher. I am sure someone somewhere loves Fred Phelps. For that someone who is grieving, I pray for their comfort and peace. For Fred Phelps- may God have mercy on his soul." For me, I had a conversation with a minister this weekend who believed one way until he died and was shown the truth was not what he expected. I think Phelp's soul has a lot of growth to do. And on this Earth, it has strengthened my personal beliefs to not believe like him. I will not protest his funeral, I will rejoice at it's coming. Both that this man no longer spreads hate (although I am sure his followers will) and it can start to heal and grow on the other side.
It seems we do know where he is: http://www.advocate.com/politics/religion/2014/03/16/fred-phelps-ex-communicated-and-near-death
the cat?...first thing i thought was this guys death would even make grumpy cat crack a smile as for the repent thing ...yes i was kidding of course..
as bill hicks would say.... maybe he will suck satans cock for eternity until a cum bubble cums out with a maggot swimming in it.
National Report has posted an article saying that Fred Phelp's made a death bed confession saying, "I'm Gay". EDIT* I found the disclaimer http://nationalreport.net/disclaimer2/
Whatever is happening to him or to any of those trash bastards couldn't possibly be enough. I hope Anonymous hacks their site and screws 'em up so bad that vile margie can't even get on and gloat.
As I supposed. There likely won't be a funeral for Fred Phelps. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/17/fred-phelps-funeral_n_4980493.html
This article talks about why Fred Phelps was excommunicated and gives me hope that Shirley Phelps Roper does not have he lead role anymore. It also talks a little about Fred Phelps illness. http://m.cjonline.com/news/2014-03-...er-power-struggle-call-kindness-within-church
if you put aside his message...the guy actually did bring free speech rights up in the spotlight too bad he did it in such a shitty way
I think hate groups like that are counter productive to promoting free speech. They go so far out of their way to make offensive statements for the sake of publicity, that it makes the public question the values of free speech, perhaps to the point that they start arguing for limitations on free speech. Therefore, the WBC is harmful to conserving free speech as a human right.
