    "Altered States" is one of my all time favorite sci fi movies. i saw it in the theater when it first came out and i was trippin. ooooo!

    Requiem for a Dream is one of those "shock" movies I love because it so unapologetically inserts hard core realism. Only movie which can consistently bring a tear to your eye.

    Sword and the Sorcerer is a weird little movie that has a cult following. If you're sensitive to things, there is just something about that movie which is unsettling.

    I also like Supernova - not the one with Luke Perry but the other one...that movie really captures the isolation of "deep space."

    And of course, The Wrong Guy with Dave Foley.
