cooloner, I think you are feeling excluded, well don't!! ok?

the little things do make a difference as Angel said. sometimes that's all we can do....not that we don't like to make huge waves too at times, but in the day to day, sometimes the offerings we have opportunities for seem small and insignificant. but the tiniest ripple can have far reaching effects.

I'm not sure where I am going with this but WTF. Where have all the hippies gone? when you are young and have your life ahead of you, you're fucking stupid if you don't do something to make this place better for you to live in. Trying to affect change is a difficult task. As we get older, (not all to be sure, but many) the task of change has made us weary. We can see that within the time line of change, we're out of time. We have seen many changes through our efforts, and many failures, but there is a subconscious realization that even if we continue to work for change we probably won't see it. The challenges that face us on earth now are similar, but in many ways different, from "back in the day". The important part is to support and encourage our younger people, and share what we have learned. We are no longer the trail blazers, but rather the tour guides and teachers. We need to pass the torch of our knowledge, and hope it (the message of love and peace) can be used by our children to make the kind of changes needed in their era. It's the changing of the guard.

    She wakes him up
Forty-eight hours later, the sun is breaking
Near broken chains, mountain laurel and rolling rocks.
She's begging to know what measures he now will be taking.
He's pulling her down and she's clutching on to his long golden locks.

    Gentlemen, he said,
I don't need your organization, I've shined your shoes,
I've moved your mountains and marked your cards
But Eden is burning, either brace yourself for elimination
Or else your hearts must have the courage for the changing of the guards.

    Peace will come
With tranquillity and splendor on the wheels of fire
But will bring us no reward when her false idols fall
And cruel death surrenders with its pale ghost retreating
Between the King and the Queen of Swords.
    Bob Dylan

I'm not sure if any of them are communists, but I'll bet a few of them are commune-ists. I went over and looked at your thread, and all the justification comparisons between Leninists and Stalinists. Hate to break it to you bro, but it's just another fucking terrorist form of government, that was dumped by the people and is now being reintroduced back into the government as a sort of bastardized hybrid between the old repressionist policies against free thought, used by the former ruling communist parties, and unbridled lust for power and money ala western capitalism/free enterprise Socialism as practiced by Putin. They all (governments in general) suck.

LOL I always used to say "You're never TOO high, until you die."

The sad part bro is when the system comes crashing down, the people are going to run to the first guy that says he can turn the lights back on, REGARDLESS of what baggage he's carrying. That was pretty evident with the pussy whipped Democrats agreeing to the sell out of what rights we had left i.e. The Patriot Act, and kowtowing to the chicken hawk CRAB junta and their impotent leader Bushit's game plan to replace representative democracy with corporate welfare while destroying the middle class and pissing on the rest of the peons while raiding the national treasury like some cheap little fucking third world dictator. And by the way the last year I paid taxes was 1972. A lot of fucking good that did. If you want domestic revolution, that's just fine, but why base it on a model that has done nothing but produce repressive regimes that were ALL worse than what we got. Why bother thinking about how to tear it down when nobodys figured out something better to replace it with. Talk about repeating the mistakes of the past! Communism sucks. Time to move onward and sideways.

If you really feel better when you're raging against the dawn, that's groovy, but the dawn is still gonna be there tomorrow morning.

war is not change,it's just more of the same.i don't need a lot of words to say a simple thing. If you want peace you have to practice peace. If you want to change government you have to get involved.Voting is just pasifacation of the public. You have to become the government.

It's a belief thing, cloner was dis'in peoples beliefs, the things they hold sacred. He picks posts apart and takes them put of contence and use's them to insult our inteligence with.
If my spelling or lack of bothers you to the point of worry, you have way too much time on your hands and need to go out and do something Constructive not Destructive. You want to "Tear it all down" well.. you dang well better have something better to replace it with first. Your fucken with my grandkids future. I'm not jumping on your band wagon. You want to start a revelution.. then what. What's your plan for a better world. You wanna blow it all up.. who's gonna clean up the mess.. who's gonna run the hospitals and schools, or will there be any.. who's gonna supply the food and water. Who will run the factories, or will we have none..who will protect us from preditors. What will our work be and who will tell us what work there is.. do we just do our own thing.. what will become of our land and homes... what about the prisons.. will we let all the criminals go and the mentaly ill and what about the disabled, what is your plan for them.
There is more to it then just tearing it down. And it's not just america, people are people. The System of Things is rotten everywhere not just the USA. There is no equiality, no justice anywhere.

if everyone thought like me there would be no gangbangers,no hitler.Wimps that don't stand up for anything, better than warmongers that want to kill everything that gets in the way of their personal liberty.Kinda like hitler when germany was persacuted. As long as we're trading insults brother, perhaps tooo many years on those military bases or a grudge against the man who raised you?Get real the system has changed and will change if we keep pushing.By the way when was the last time you were robbed by a 13 year old?i guess i've just been lucky?I remember walking thru watts at 2 in the morning, shared a smoke with with a local who joined me for a few miles finally getting a ride with a cop getting me out of that "dangerous" situation.Sorry i don't believe in gangbangers, just people.

What kind of answers do you hold Steve..Who's plan is it and what are their motives. I don't want anyone speaking for me till I know where they stand and who it's really benefitting.
I'm all for making it a better world, but by what means. I'm not willing to give up my soul or my life to yet another type of mind control.
If everyone just all laid down their weapons at the same time and walked away. That would bring about change. If more people would relay on themselves and not the government to make their day to day discissions and grow their own, so to speak. Then there would be change.
It's the seeds we plant in our youth that will reap the harvest of Peace and the seeds they plant in their offspring. That's what will bring about change.
    Brightest Blessings

Well. The hornets nest awakens. The thing that people aren't getting here is the need for balance. Sure, it's just a hunky-dorey idea to just love everybody and be 100% nonviolent all the time. It's honorable and all. I don't think anybody could disagree that if EVERYBODY put down their weapons and bad attitudes that the world would be a better place. But that ain't balance, and it ain't REALISTIC. We live in the world we live in, and you can't do but so much about it. You can do your best to put out there the concepts you want to live by, and gain alot of respect for it, but not everybody is gonna respect your ideas or lifestyle. It's a fact of life. Loving your enemies is a heavy and hard hitting way to fight back, but the reality is that love can't compete with guns. Killing someone with kindness is a beautiful thing, but guns have a farther reach... I'm in a particular place here, because I've almost always tried to use love to fight my wars, but I'm also not stupid. We live in a redneck place with thieves and idiots in every corner. I have in the past and will again, look into these peoples faces with compassion in my heart, a smile on my face, the word "brother" in my mouth, and a gun pointed at their heads. THIS is balance. But these things should be kept for situations where there is nothing left to do. Some people just don't have the intellect to get it otherwise. But even in situations where you MUST use "violence" in order to fix what's wrong, the ONLY way is to keep your head and your heart, and not get caught up in the emotional realms of fear and anger, or you lose control.

I too checked out cooloners "playground". His only suggestion for curing all that is wrong with the world is to spit in rich folks faces... But isn't that just another part of what's wrong? That attitude smacks of hatred, bigotry, judgementalness, generalities. Believe me, it's not that I don't understand where he's coming from, but his statements are so broad as to be worthless. One of the best friends I ever had was ridiculously rich. Born into it. She spent her entire life doing for others selflessly. She had balance. She realized the great blessing she had been given, and used it wisely. Her money gave her power but she used it wisely to help others. And because of the extent of her wealth, she was able to make MANY peoples lives better, not just in the US, but in other countries as well. When she died, she left her money to organizations and individuals who would continue to make a difference for the good. But in Cooloners eyes, her wealth would have made her a target for his hatred.

It can be a real challenge to walk in balance, but the benefits are GREAT. I try my utmost to practice this, and I have reached a place where I can look people in the eyes, people that I know, who are doing things I don't approve of, and tell them just what I think of them and what they're doing, with a gun pointed at them (literally or figuratively) if necessary, and still hold their respect. What little they are capable of. THAT is balance. And balance is our best shot for improving this life. Total nonviolence, total love and compassion, are very honorable things, but by themselves will get you walked on stomped on and shot down. Sometimes we must do what is necessary for the GREATER GOOD. At times this is the most loving and compassionate thing you can do.
Some folks work really hard at creating for themselves BAD KARMA. It would NOT be loving or helpful to anyone to try to keep these people from experiencing the karma they have coming. Otherwise all they learn is that they can get away with whatever shitty thing they've been doing, and no one will do anything about it. That is not kindness, nor is it balance. We can only hope that we have the strength and intelligence and dedication to making the world a better place that is necessary to make this work. Getting all angry and emotional will not help.

    Good Mornin' Gate,
What a wonderful world we live on. The Mother is Perfect in her splender, we are truely blessed to be part of the sceam of things as we evolve and grow into what we came to accomplish.
    Our lights are ever shining
    as beacons
    Bringing in the wayshares
as they journey into the unknown.
We are the chosen ones that defy injustice

We are eagles flying above the stench of humanity
We are the seekers of truth and light
We come to ease and give comfort
    We nurish the soul
We comfort the lost and lonely

    We come out of nowhere
    and are everywhere
    you'll know us
by the smiles in our hearts
the love we wear as our shileds

AND WE ARE COMING TO YOUR CITY!!!

Cloner your on some rollercoaster ride there dude, you hop around more then the Rabbitt going down the hole.
If your gonna run things I'm heading for the hills, a cave or the fricken moon.
Get rich and share the wealth, make a difference with it if you can. Feed the hungry with it, provide shelther for the homeless with it. Cure Cystic Fibroses with it. Don't sit there and say I could be rich if I wanted to be. I could be KING.. we are all part of the same source, in which we shall return. It's what we do while we are here, what we learn about ourselves. What changes we make to be better people. Anarchi is no solution.

..."battle of wits" is the common term although the word 'wit' can be used to portray someone using their knowledge to put together thoughts on paper.

However the word "wit" is commonly used in a humorous sense.

"knowledge, intellect, the seat of consciousness; the perception and expression of connections between ideas that produce amusement"

Unless Cooloner, you meant you thought Mary may seek you out for a joke showdown...

Also the word seak should be spelled 'seek'...."to make an effort or attempt"

Your word 'seak' has no definition....

I don't care very much about type o's...however when someone puts down anothers' inability to spell all the while mispelling words and using the wrong context...well, that wears on my patience.

Just wanted to clear things up...hahahhhaaaa
