not all drugs are only used to make you feel happy. when i was 'anit-drug' i had that point of view wich was very stupid of me because i was also 'anti-uneducated opinion'. but anyway... my first shroom trip, for example, opend my eyes to previously unimaginable perception and understanding of my world and reality. sure... in low doses they can make you giggle for 4 hours, but that's not what trippers usually go for. there are tons of different reasons to use different drugs for different people. all of the 'drug people' that i'm friends with don't ever use psychedelics and expect only fun.

i can be really damn happy w/out drugs too. and, imo, i use them more than most people (who aren't 'addicts' or whatnot). you just need to know what you're doing and how to go about it. used in the right way, 'drugs' can actaully be very therapeutic and mind expanding.

if you're a fan of creativity and contemplation and love revelation, if you're in good health and relatively confidant with yourself, i strongly suggest trying psychedelics. other drugs like stimulants and opiates are good, too. as long as you understand what you're doing and don't overdo it.

sorry if i sound like a know-it-all, i'm just expressing what i've learned through experience and reading.

edit: it makes me giggle that you're a curt cobain and jim morrison fan. i was a bit of a marilyn manson fan when i was aganst drugs.
