We ran away from a cop!

dude, it's good friends bail you outta jail, best friends are sittin in the cell with you, blah blah blah.
i don't think a fake friend would throw down 100 bucks to get a "friend" outta jail.
on the other hand, no your friend shouldn't be pissed! especially if she sat there because of her boyfriend. tell her to get over it! everyone has to run from the cops sometime!

 

I've never had an experience with the police myself, but isn't it slightly stupid to run away from people who have a legal excuse for bruising you if you're caught?

 

Tell that "freind" or yours to get that dildo outta her ass. Shit I woulda ran my ass off if a cop was there. Aint nobody gonna stay and get in trouble when you have the option of running.

Man.. running from the cops can be fun. I have ran so many times and got away.

This one time me and a bunch of my friends were at this oil rig land drinking some beer and we see a state trooper pass by the road and we are like fuck... so we all said lets go to this other piece of land about 2 miles down the road and drink there. so we all go there and park our trucks there.

About 5 min. later we see an unmarked police car pull in and everyone starts scattering and taking off and I didnt run ( my only time I never ran) because my truck was there and they would have got me either way. So they took off in the woods and the cop told me if i didnt tell him who they were I would go to jail. And said if I told him he would let me go with no ticket and I would be free. I said you can take me to jail but I'm not saying anything.

All he did was wrote me a ticket for minor in possession and consumtion. It cost me a few hundred bucks but it saved all of my friends from going to jail and some from going to jail for a few years because some had warrants and whatnot. We tell the story to people all the time and they all say how good of a friend I am from keeping them outa jail for 5 years and whatnot..

I'll stick up for anyone, thats just who I am. So yeah I would have ran too if I were you. Fuck your friend who wants to be a bitch about it. They should get over it.

Those that stayed need to take responsibility for their own actions.

you also need to be able to make a judgment call, sometimes running is the worst thing.
I've been at party's(which I ran form) that only got busted because some on the front porch drinking a beer ran as soon as they saw a cop drive by.

Okay usually I respect what you have to say but that is bullshit. She was doing her job, you can't rag on her for it. Especially if the kid was a dick. If you do the crime, do the time.

Nah man. Fuck that. It's not like the dude was stealing anything expensive. I could see if he was trying to walk out the store with $20+ worth of shit, but Black & Milds cost $2-3, which isn't gonna affect anyone. Just let the dude have his Blacks.

And what difference does it make if the kid was a dick? Getting someone arrested is okay if they make fun of you?

The point is, the dude will have that shit on his record now, and for what? Because some snitch didn't want him to get away with stealing a couple dollars worth of shit? She could have at least confronted him and let him know that she was gonna tell the manager and give him a chance to put it back, instead of just jumping the gun and getting the kid arrested.

That may sound ignorant, but I know how it feels. The dude wasn't hurting anyone, so she should've minded her business, imo.

And as far as "if you do the crime, you do the time".....by those standards, she should have stood her ground and let the cops arrest her, because she was committing a "crime". Sure, she was just "doing her job", but so are the cops when they arrest someone for possession of marijuana, so what's with the double-standard? Fuck cops and fuck snitches.

i still think thats stupid and that if you steal something and get busted, you shouldnt get pissed at anyone but your idiot self for being dumb of to try and steal something and then COMPLAIN when they have the cops called on them.

 

I think she was just a little shook up from the experience. Some people when they're drinking and getting stoned get paranoid and get really angry when they think you've left them in one of those situations. I think she'll understand after an explqaination and she'll forget about it! good luck!
