Wat do you guise do?

rihgt now i am waiting tables and washing dishes at a small mom and pop catfish place, over the summer i was also working at the local CV's. i hate the place im working now cause my boss is a fucking ****, so right now i am in the business of beeing clean in order to find a new job. i already got a couple applications sent out and several interviews done so ill hopefully have one soon

 

Been there, done that! I ran like three different restaurants at the same time with room service when I worked for the Adam's Mark Hotel then I later did like two different fine dining restaurants after that not to mention the pizza place I managed and the corporate chain restaurants. Not that I did them all at the same time, I have been doing this for a long time. I hated being a corporate restaurant manager. There is not a lot of creative things to do. You are expected to just lower the costs. I would compare working in a corporate restarurant as a manager to having to make 12 chocolate chip cookies every day and trying to make them for less money each time. Now don't get me wrong, I had fun at the time, it's just something I don't consider a challange any more.

 

I got a job at a desk for the state.

 

Corporate Restaurant sucks.. agree whole heartedly.. like you said.. no creativity.. you do what they want you to do.. and thats that

I don't work now but my best job was washing and putting away dishes. It was alright, I was a banquet guy so I had a lot of busy times. It was cool cuz you could take a break every twenty minutes between waves. Everybody smoked bud and we could bring music for the radio. I never smoked with anyone there but I did lines before and during work... If only I had come in and not blown off a shift.
