Oh and yes the singer does have have an annoying voice... every Dream Theater fan is aware of this and is actively trying to do something about it.

This thread is annoying. music isn't about who can play with the most Speed/Soul/Styles/etc... It's about just playing and having a good time.

I think John Fogerty is a very good guitarist. CCR will always be one of the best bands ever IMO.

Petrucci is more talented in terms of playing ability than most guitarists, but there are people who play that style better than him. And I prefer guitarists with soul.

Of course Hendrix wasn't God, but he started it all off.

 

Petrucci isn't a better guitarist, he is a quicker guitarist. YES JOHN PETRUCCI HAS TALENT, I KNOW THAT.
