I believe you should go to the doctor, expensive or not and they will most likely set up an appointment for a colonoscopy. Blood in your stool is a big red flag. There could be many reasons for why it is happening. It could be something as simple as an anal fissure (small crack or sore, from hard bowel movements, wiping your butt too hard, thong underwear, etc. ) or a hemmeroid, an ulcer, or not getting enough fiber in your diet. There are several diseases and conditions where blood in your stool is a big warning sign. If left untreated you could be doing way more serious harm to yourself! Believe me, I work in a clinical setting and see dozens of patients with this symptom every day! Please get yourself checked out, if not for yourself but for your loved ones! Most especially if your family has a history of any kind of gastrointestinal disease or cancer. It most-likely won't just go away on its own. Also, if you are colorblind, as gross as it sounds you may want someone to look at the stool you have passed if you think there is blood in it. Black or tarry looking stool is not good.

I'm four days well now... damn bodies and their annoyingly high demand for water.
