Wanting a Baby

^IMHO having children is the greatest gift in the world. If it is with someone that you are truly in love with it makes it that much more perfect.

But, if I had to choose, I would pick having kids.

I know that's fucked up, but being a mother is more important to me than being in love. I can relate to OP.

(For the record, I had an unexpected child with a man that I grew to hate...now my husband is his father and we are a sickeningly happy family.)

 

I think he eventually wants to have a child,but is scared that he won't be a good father. Also, he has a misconception on how much money is needed to raise a child. He comes from a very wealthy family, so he is comparing us to his parents even if he denies it. I'm a teacher and he works in IT, so it isn't like we don't have good jobs.
