yea man it's totally worth it! :cheers2: I got legitimately angry when I couldn't do it this morning. I miss it
I can imagine. I don't know that much about it, only happened once that I can remember and it was by accident. Felt like a million bucks in the morning.
I read the whole thread, and i must thank stalk and relayer for very inspiring information. I began my experimenting with wild and although i haven't gotten there yet i have made progress to getting the numb feeling over my whole body, and the feeling of falling back/down, as well as the movie of thoughts. I also wonder, could this be related to the idea of controlling your regular dreams by locating a part of your body in your dream, like the hands, and suddenly gaining control of your dream...?
i dont think you have to hear explosions to be experiencing sleep paralysis. lucid dreaming can happen once you are dreaming and you become aware. but dont let this awareness surprise you because it will pull out out of your dream state. just go with the flow and you will find you can do anything in your dreams.
haha Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming definitely lets you experience some "explosions" I must say, they are VERY loud, and VERY awesome. However, you are right that when you randomly enter a lucid dream while in your sleep that first stage doesn't happen... but that's why it's so much better than normal lucid dreaming There's a whole other aspect to it besides the conscious dreaming.
So you guys are telling me I can feel like I am in a spiritual rollercoaster just by these directions with a little alteration and finding the niche? I have always wanted to experience a lucid dream, but I won't lie, I never have. Yeah I have had the dream where I honestly thought i was on a rollercoaster holding on for my life, but it was just a dream. It wasn't anything to rejoice about. I'm soooo interested right now. I guess I'll start keeping a journal. I meditated for the first time last night and saw the most weird geometric shapes floating in hyperspeed. It wasn't very vivid, but it definately was there. Might I add that I shake and find myself on the ground crying when I smoke marijuana. I think my brain is very very open to the other realm whatever or wherever it may be. Any suggestions on a first timer trying to build up his WILD?
Last week i meditated quite a lot throughout the day, and again before bed, and i sensed that sleep paralysis was probably going to occur that night. I got lost in my thoughts, and could sense it slowly happening. I was suddenly reminded of my childhood when i was very afraid of the dark and ended up completely covering myself with the sheets. Thats when the paralysis hit in full force. I noticed that my hand was reaching out near my drawer, but i don't think it was consciously done. Then i felt a heavy presence near my hand, and i felt that it was very much the same kind of presence from my first sleep paralysis as a child when i saw all these black figures/ beings, but i couldn't observe it this time because i was underneath my sheets. Then on the other side i could feel the sheets moving, and momentarily i thought i could see the movement on the sheets even though i was facing the opposite direction and for i second i thought my mom was moving the sheets, but i realized she was all the way in India, and then realized that it was probably another "being". Then the paralysis felt stronger, feeling as if i was being pulled somewhere. I got very tense and my heart beat increased as i tried to resist. I then realized that i wasn't in any actual danger, so i relaxed myself and was rewarded with the most incredible euphoria. after that moment i was ready to let them take me, but it was to late and i was back to normal feeling extremely clearheaded and serene. i then had some weird dreams involving some kind of deep therapy sessions between me and my friends, who kept asking me to prove things to them but its all very fuzzy. It was an appropriate time for it to happen since i had just finished reading DMT: The Spirit Molecule that day. First sleep paralysis experience in a while. I definitely need to work on controlling this type of experience, but i think this one destroyed a lot of fear i once associated with sleep paralysis.
I have a question. If I stop sleeping but am still in bed and like not conscius, and then I wake up and go take a piss and go eat breakfest, but then my mom yells at me to wake up and i actually do wake up and still am in my bed, is that some form of what you guys are talking about? because like I know i'm not still asleep, and I can almost like feel the whole thing happen.
This was the first post that got me even started on this forum. I wish I could do this so bad. I've been telling everyone of my friends about it, and I tripped them the fuck out and they all wanna try it too. I was thinking of a group WILD. Where can I find more information about this at?
I just recently found out about these forums and I am so glad that I found this wake induced lucid dreaming thread because this is honestly what I've ALWAYS wanted to do. I am moving to my own place on January 1st and will have about 2 weeks of absolutely nothing to do where I can hopefully practice this a bit. Anyyyways... I am wondering when I can see results if I am just beginning this. I mean how long does it really take to have your first wake induced lucid dream. Any ballpark guess would be fine, so I know what to expect and when to expect it. I have had lucid dreams maybe 3-5 times before but they only lasted for a few minutes and I've RARELY had dreams that were vivid and clear like the ones that you guys describe. I am so excited for this I cannot wait. WILDs kind of scare me though I am a very easily frightened person and I startle so easily. I don't think I could handle having a bad trip. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with things that seem so real and are very horrifying? Ahh, well I should be getting to bed. Catch you all later
Oh, yeah. I forgot to say that I read everything on this thread in one sitting because I was so excited! Ahh, and I wanted to ask for advice when I do start trying to do this WILD thing. You see, the thing is I have a very, very hard time falling asleep. I can be awake up to 3 hours before I fall asleep (this is pretty regular) but I'd say on average it takes like 1 to 2 and a half hours to fall asleep. Yeah, it sucks. But anyways, I'm thinking this will affect my attempts to have WILDs so does anyone have any advice for this?
Yes. meet us @ Panther Meadow on Mt. Shasta We've been working with this location lately. You can find us there.
K, I really want to get there. I'm drinking tonight though, so don't wait on me. If you see the guy slumping in the corner, gagged, with a blindfold over his eyes and big fuzzy earmuffs on his head, that's me.
