yo mama, I have many friends who are veggies and I don't knock them at all, nor do I want them to be any different. One summer, I was spending a ton of time with two close female friends of mine who were both vegetarians and I tried to go for as long as I could just to see what it was like. I could only go for about a week, then I just got screwed up and was practically convulsing for a piece of meat. hey, I tried it but it wasn't for me. I felt week and just weirdly uncomfortable going veggie.

I apologize you for my last post, just thought this forum was about vegetarism generaly and wanted to show some new aspects of vegetarism. Seems i was wrong.

Personally, i don't think that the number of killed animals lowers significantly because some (4% in USA, roughtly the same in Europe, only India have 20%) people don't eat meat. It's simply not profitable - meat industry kills the same amount of animals and exports more meat, or some meat goes to waste. Furthermore, there's too much grain in USA, and if animals hadn't been grown for meat, costs of grain would have dropped drastically and many farmers would have to quit. And after that, everything would be the same, the same world hunger etc.

I went veggie because I love food but was bored.
I went on to discover the joys of cooking something totally different to usual.
Then I realised how much weight I lost (combined with my regular badminton).
I felt lighter inside and never much liked meat except chicken boobs and beef mince anyway...

I support the idea of not killing animals but sometimes... Well, it's not my number one concern because we breed sheep and cows for it, it ain't nice for them but I got other issues and such at the mo...

Selfish and all, I guess, but I have discovered a better way of living and although I still eat chicken on occasion and today I ate some mince in a bolognese sauce, I usually stick to the veggie diet because it interests me more.

My family go veggie once in a while (except me bro) and although research may show we were supposed to eat meat, it is a nice break and I prefer the benefits of veggieness.

Guess this is some of my tuppennies worth...
