Marmite is more nutritious, that's why i eat it. (probably not too much more though) Oh yeah the worms..yummy..i remember eating them as a kid.
i love vegemite with butter spread on toast, with the butter melted onto the toast first then the vegemite. not too much though, hardly any. oh and must have a cold dirnk of milk next to it.
Hmm don't think I'd ever mix vegimite and sugar, but pancakes with lemon and sugar are awesome, and to answer the original post, I'm definitely a fan of the old veg
If you are so inclined, you can make a vegetarian gravy using vegemite. There again to do so is not to fully embrace vegetarianism as a concept.
Whoa Vegemite is owned by Phillip Morris. Scary. I was in Oz for 14 months, and never got to like Vegemite, though my roomie ate loads of that crap. I guess you have to start eating it as a kid, like all wee lads do in Australia. Vegemite is by far the foulest substance I have ever had in my mouth. bleech.
I quite like Vegemite, but as others have mentioned, not too much. Spread thinly on bread or toast it's quite yummy.
