we beat all but 1...in what world is that not a great accomplishment i'd like to see you get out on a field and perform at such level
pro level? or what? i've been on plenty of undefeated teams from soccer - swimming - baseketball. none even close to pro level
Maybe if I didn't break my neck. Still I would have prolly had to put on another 15 pounds to play college ball anyway. My friend tried to get me take roids, but I refused. He went on to play for the gators but got kicked out for failing a piss test for pot. You watching this Duke/UNC game?
no wish i was though how'd ya break your neck? i'm playing rugby now at school. we just got moved from club sport to varsity
Surfing. Someone dropped in on me and I hit the bottom hard and almost drowned. I luv rugby; sometimes it feels good to get the shit knocked outta you, you know what I mean?
thats rough man i've wanted to play for a while. but its taken me a while to build my knee up to be as strong as it is now. had part of my lateral meniscus removed due to a tear. our first game is on the 29th at Coast Guard - i can't wait
I'm thinking about joining a soccer league next month, it's good aerobic exercise, but I hate getting kicked in the shins, and they think you're a pussy if you wear shinguards.
i wore the smallest shinguards i could get away with when i played in high school. i also broke a kids ankle on a legal slide tackle to. i loved soccer. you should join
I wear my ass out because I try to be around the ball always and don't have enough sense to play zone like everyone else.
It also doesn't validate it in anyway, either. He was talking about a direct real-time relationship of motion/matter/energy,etc not nature/god(s)/karma,etc getting some form of retribution, at a latter point in time because someone did something that maybe construed as ethically questionable.
i was captain for 3 years. jr and sr. year i roamed around all over the field, but my primary position was mid. defender. i did the free kicks, corners, a lot of the throw ins. i screamed out a lot so my teamates could follow me...and i was a marked man from the other teams
Yeah, I have full respect for the halfback, probably the most physically demanding position of any sport.
