mine would be january 1, 2003 (an easy date to remember!!) that would put me almost right at three years. it was the first and only new years resolution that i've ever actually kept! xoxo, chely
Vegan 3 years in January 2006! Vegetarian for 5 or 6 years (that was more gradual, don't remember exactly)
my veggie anniversary is on easter! i turned veggie back in sixth grade, so that would be... 9 years ago; wow!
Can't remember the date, but its been about 5-7 years with me lol. ( Time just wizzies away in my mind + I usually don't even know the day without looking at a TV guide lol ).
I went veggie on the first of January 2005..... ashamedly I wanted to have one last roast on the new years eve..... is that so bad? True, I used to like meat... but I like to see living animals more.... glad I'm a veggie
i haven't eaten meat since dec. 30, 2005 i am considering becoming veg i like the way meat tastes. but i do not like the antibiotics and hormones...or the slaughtering
I don't even remember when I stopped eating meat. It was just such a natural shift.... I'm racking my brain and I'm really not sure....!
Jan 2003. One fateful day: Semi cooked chicken from the canteen, a raw sausage exploding all over my face at work and then coming home to watch a documentary on Mad Cow Disease. Did the job. Also I was tooting my animal rights horn since I was a 'lil tyke and still eating them. The hypocracy finally kicked in.
haven't eaten meat since end of march '05, which was a bit of a spur of the moment decision. thought it might be cool to give vegetarianism a try since i've never been a big fan of meat, and never bothered to start eating meat again. i personally prefer veg food to food that contains meat, so it would really make no sense for me to start eating it again. i'm also rather enamoured of the fact that i'm avoiding hormones and antibiotics..done a lot of research on that, and am thinking of going vegan for that reason.
Vegetarian since September 1999 Vegan since November 2002 First time I went vegetarian was 1973 for a few years.
Ok, somone who gets us but also uses diferent terms for meat and sea food, yay. now I can ask my burning question: What is the difference to you?
