get off the antibiotics.. is not a need I assure you..

 

Only take them when one really needs them. Otherwise people even get kind of immune for it. Or the bacteria become resistant. Which would suck when one really need antibiotics to do their job.

 

unbelievable ... the people who are least educated got their mouth most wide open. just as the smaller the dog the louder it barks.... i bet none of these people here who talk arrogantly about vaccines have studied anything - let alone medicine. I dont want to brag but here is a guy who finished his studies at an european (not american!) university (not college!) , majoring in 2 foreign languages, besides my mother tongue(german) . I am sure there arent that many people here who can reach me a glass of water. Or are there? so please shut your mouth and sit back on your little plastic chair, where you belong ,

You haven't really said anything to make me think you have a strong scientific background. I dont believe that anyone with any sort of degree in science would be anti vax, I just don't see how. What is your degree in?

Vaccines are a simple science though, you don't need a science degree to understand. Adaptive immunity requires the exposure to a foreign antigen. Vaccines introduce said antigen to our immune system, our memory cells remember the exposure and can respond very quickly on subsequent exposure.

I've never heard of vaccines containing antibiotics. Vaccines typically give immunity to viral diseases, whereas antibiotics are used primarily to treat bacterial infections.

I don't think that they use live attenuated vaccines in the flu shots anymore, but at least back when they did, if you gave this kind of vaccine to someone with a compromised immune system, they could come down with a mild case of the disease they were supposed to be vaccinating for.

 

What about blood transfusions? In the US there is a crazed cult religion that thinks this is evil somehow and have refused their children life saving transfusions. Parents rights end somewhere.

 

I would never advise someone to do something that was contrary to their doctor's advice.

I would also say that no one should be on long-term antibiotics unless there are no better options available.

I am very much pro-vaccination, because there is overwhelming evidence that vaccines are safe (unless you are allergic to eggs or other vaccine ingredients, or have certain rare disorders that cause seizures) and effective at preventing the diseases that they are intended to prevent.

The number of people harmed by vaccines is less than one in a million, and the number helped vastly greater.

I'm also very much pro-alternative medicine, at least when there is evidence that these treatments work.

Morrow, there may in fact be some alternative treatments that might be worth trying, not in place of your current treatment, but in addition to it, if your doctor had no objection. I could say more if you were interested.

 

The problem I see with this is that viral diseases are communicable. So "their choice" could mean that someone who is not their kid could get sick.

 

I think its a bit selfish myself. Some people are immunocompromised and cannot get vaccinated. Healthy people have a responsibility to protect them by getting vaccinated

Vaccines are so effective in part because of herd immunity. When people stop vaccinating for nonsense reasons based on bunk science we lose our herd immunity

I agree. Like i said, it depends on the risk and further details. People refusing their kid a flu shot is forgivable for example.

what morrow said is true , "vaccines contain antibiotics" , and i am surprised how she knows that? because this is insider knowledge and not even doctors know what vaccines contain, ask any doctor

regarding what you said it is absolutely true also, vaccines give you the very same disease they are supposed to prevent, i dont know why a sane human being would want that garbage in his system? vaccine-manufacturers (that is pharma industry) are so powerful, they have just recently won a court case and gained "lawsuit imunity" meaning nobody can ever sue them again for "inflicted injury" as has been done many times in the past, now these bastards got free ride to put inside vacccines whatever they want. My cousin in the US whos liver these people destroyed (she has a donated liver ) is just 1 of many .

there is no pathogen on earth that enters the human body without bypassing the imune system (GI-tract) .
Now (let me talk to you as if with a kindergarten child ok) when you inject a vaccine shot into someones system , it bypasses the gi-tract and goes directly into the bloodstream. Not only does that cause toxic shock to the body BUT also is it not efficient BECAUSE the body ONLY becomes imune to a certain disease/pathogen once it has gotten through all the stages of the illness. Eg chickenpox,mums, etc . We know that children MUST go through the whole process of these 1x diseases in order to become imune to them for the rest of their lives. If vaccinated against this children diseases , then these people will get the very same disease later on in life. OK i once again degraded myself and stooped to a very low level just to talk with some of you smart alecs so that you might understand. ridiculous.. i wonder why i do that? i dont get anything back from your plastic chairs. tzz
