The trouble is, I'm not sure if he is just talking as he does for fun.
If you read his earlier comments he suggests why just make things simple and end the conversation. It feels like it is just fun for him. I might be wrong.

Certainly I could perceive things in that way but I think the real culprit is profit motive not maleficent collusion.

No, I don't mean to argue and I don't think that's what this is.

What I meant was although;

is true, there's grey area. Industries/corporations create jobs, they support people. They also hurt people, financially, health wise, etc. Corporations exploit prisoners, but they also give them jobs and money. Corporations feed people, but that food is full of questionable additives. It's a double edged sword.

Same with government, while it does some good, it also partakes in criminal activity and screws people over. Many government officials also accept paychecks from corporations and in return propose new laws to cover their asses and look the other way when certain corporations/industries display subpar operating standards.

If this seems errant to you, that's okay. You needn't accept it, it's my point of view. I was just curious as to if you could see this going on.

Yea but it's not exactly the best message to be holding a gun when saying we need to deplore all violence.

On top of it, he has terrible trigger discipline. Near half his finger is wrapped around the trigger, judging by his leg he has the gun aimed right at his foot, and if he fired it right at that moment aside from the shot foot, he'd need stitches in his thumb probably from the gun action.

For self-defense at home, all anybody needs is a basic .38 revolver with hollow point ammunition. That's what I used to have. It's cheap and reliable. With the center chamber empty (for safety), five shots should be more than enough for an ordinary burglary situation.

I live in a safe neighborhood now, so I don't need a gun at all. It's better not to have one around if you don't really need it. Accidents happen.
