They demolished the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in their campaign of terror against both the British occupiers and the Arabs in an effort to gain a homeland. They drove out the British and then created a country based on a treaty that only the Jews, not the Arabs, ratified. Gosh, freaking Muslims getting all bitchy at getting thrown out of their homes. Even today it is being pursued with relentless zeal as is evident by the highly disspraportionate casualties suffered by the palestinian people at the hands of a very well armed IDF.

We support Israel because we love Israel. I know I do, and I'm not even Jewish. I am old enough to remember the Six Day War in 1967. Nearly everyone in the United States was delighted when Israel crushed the Arabs. I sure was. When the World Trade Center was destroyed Palestinians danced in the streets.
If the Palestinians don't like it they should move somewhere else. If the Arabs really cared about those people they would make it easy for them to move to their countries. The truth is, they usually try to keep them out. The Arabs hate the Jews because the Jews do everything so much better than they do. Hatred of Jews is the socialism of the gutter.

These people don't want anybody but Jews in Israel. And they made great progress towards this goal with the help of a US population that only hears one side of the story. I am glad that support for Israel is not a political issue in the United States. Whenever there is a presidential campaign the question is not, "Should we support Israel?" but "How best can we support Israel?"

We supported both sides in the Iran Iraq War. We supported whichever side was losing. In doing so we encouraged two countries that were dangerous to us and Israel to fight each other. That was a clever strategy, and weakened both countries. The Neocons promoted the invasion of Iraq. A more intelligent policy would have been to achieve a clandestine alliance with Saddam Hussein against Al Quaeda. Al Quaeda was more of a threat to Saddam than to us. Saddam kept Al Quaeda out of Iraq. Unlike us Saddam understood Islamic fanatics and knew how to keep them under control. When he ruled Iraq there were no suicide bombers. For the forseeable future the Moslems are going to be in a lethal mood. Fortunately, we can usually find some to fight the ones who really hate us. Unfortunately, the War in Iraq unites Moslems against us. Also, the fact that the United States has not won the War in Iraq and is likely to lose encourages our Moslem enemies. America's blitzkrieg during the War in the Gulf terrified our enemies. Bush Sr. was a far better war leader than Bush Jr.
