I meant in a corporate sense, it is not as useful as power and control, granted those things can only be reached through money. It is a means to an end, so it's all in how you look at it.
The USDA has been misleading the U.S. about milk for years too. They recommend that we drink three 8oz glasses a day. We are the only creature on earth that drinks milk after infancy... and they are telling us to drink a COW's milk. Every wonder why obesity rates are so high? This documentary gives a fairly realistic perspective of the typical American Coorporation.. http://www.thecorporation.com/
Haha yea, I could never agree that money is useless in my own life, I need cash to stay alive. But in my business, I can get far without ever spending a penny. It's strange, I used to watch my boss spend money he didn't even have to stay afloat, and I vowed to be more responsible with my finances.
its not becasue of milk. we eat FAR too many grains. less veggies, especially dark green leafy ones. our fatty acid profiles are fucked. and to top it off, society is by far sededantry. you think its weird to drink milk to? how bout consuming the meat of a cow? think thats weird?
In the perfect world we would all be vegetarians... but there is some especially dangerous shit brewing in most dairy products,, http://www.ethicalinvesting.com/monsanto/bgh.shtml
The corporate machine treats people as nothing more then parts in mass production assemble line, all parts must be replaceable, interchangeable and most importantly expendable.
It is not entirely healthy to be a complete vegetarian...bodies need protien. It's all about balance like Chris said, we need to eat less grains, more fruits and veggies, and SOME meat. Just not as much as most Americans currently do. And milk......I regret that I didn't drink more milk when I was younger. I believed that it didn't make a difference, and I know I was wrong. I would be much better off if I had taken in more calcium when I was younger.
then you should get your head out of your ass. I won't get into it, but I assure... the shit is BAD. Drink SILK ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovine_somatotropin "The sale of Posilac is illegal in virtually every developed country in the world with the exception of the United States. [15] In the United States, the use of rbST has been approved by the FDA."
milk is great, in that the calcium and protein work synergistically to make stronger bones. any calcium + protein combo will work the same, but in milk, its already present. its a ridiculous notion to rule out cows milk, when we consume the muscle tissue of a cow. its not the amount of meat people eat. its the lack of variety. and getting better nutrition. animals are fed grains - not the natural diet they would normally eat, which screws their fatty acid profile up (increasing omega 6) - which when consumed by humans, screws up our fatty acid profile. which is why we people should be looking to get more fat sources into their body. saturated fat is not the problem. the problem nowadays is that people eat like crap, and get little to no basic exercise on a day to day basis. you can buy grass fed meat. drink down a tablespooon or 2 of olive oil a day. get lots of veggies in your diet. move, dont' just sit around all day, especially if you have a job where you sit down.
Yea really. And if someone is worried about the chemicals in cow's milk, there ARE organic milks out there these days, among other things. But to rule out milk, or to say that it is actually UNhealthy....I'm trying not to laugh at that.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to start a pissing match with you, just offering some VALUABLE insight that might effect your health in the future. http://www.worldwidehealthcenter.net/articles-49.html You should educate yourself a little bit before you start explaining things as if you are knowledgeable on the subject. Osteoporosis - American women have been consuming an average of two pounds of milk per day for their entire lives, yet thirty million American women have osteoporosis. Drinking milk does not prevent bone loss. Bone loss is accelerated by ingesting too much protein, and milk has been called "liquid meat." http://www.notmilk.com/o.html Calcium: Studies have shown that vegetarians absorb and retain more calcium from foods than do nonvegetarians. Vegetable greens such as spinach, kale and broccoli, and some legumes and soybean products are good sources of calcium from plants. http://www.americanheart.org/Heart_and_Stroke_A_Z_Guide/vegdiet.html
Milk derived from cows that have been injected with (rBST) IS unhealthy! http://www.centerforfoodsafety.org/rbgh2.cfm
stop pushing vegetarianism on me. i don't like it. i guarantee i get just as much or more vegetables daily than the vegetarians on this site + i add in my meat. linking me to notmilk, are you kidding me? i have educated myself. you need to do that for yourself, because your spouting off propaganda that is based on terrible and biased science
I'm not pushing vegetarianism on you, just offering you some helpful information to better your health. Do whatever you want, but don't say it's BS. Maybe it is just too much for you to read ! So I guess this means you trust the coorporations, but you believe I am trying to lie to you... for some STUPID fucking reason.
Iam surprised to see to a topic about corporations that talks about milk and doesnt mention child labor or monopolies
