^^^ just wanted to thank you for keeping us posted! i am having a lot of trouble getting information... slow connection is driving me nuts... thanks
must be a strange feeling to have people trying to distance themselves from assange while a different group tries to ingratiate themselves to assange
Sounds like bullshit to me. What that really says to me is, "We've seen just how fucking popular leaking these things can be and so we want to make some money off of it too."
UPDATE: Swedish Appeal Rejected, Assange to be Freed! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/16/julian-assange-bail-appeal_n_797510.html
UPDATE 12/16: Swedish Appeal Rejected, Assange to be Freed! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/16/julian-assange-bail-appeal_n_797510.html Unfortunately, it appears that he'll have to remain in jail for another day until his supporters can get the bail money issue resolved. They have to appear at police stations and fill out forms and fork over the money...
Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, has been freed from a London jail, following the payment of $345,000 bail money by various celebrities. As conditions for his release, Julian must wear an electronic tracking device and report to a local police station each day. At least now he can return to Wikileaks and continue his work and try to fix the problems the US has caused for his organization. LOL! I was just imagining the Diplomatic Cables being sent today between the US & UK... Hopefully Wikileaks will share them with us one day.
Try to fix the problems the U.S. has caused for his organization? I think the U.S. has a good case for espionage charges. See http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/08/world/08leak.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss Whether or not he did anything to Swedish women without their consent, I have no idea.
