The Age of Aquarius isn't evil. I don't know who defined it that way but they're mistaken. That doesn't mean I'd disagree that there's been a serious rise in evil on this planet (I sure do think there has been, and continues to be) but I personally wouldn't attribute that to Aquarius.

I lean more towards Kali Yuga (which has an *enormous* time span) as an explanation or definition for what has amplified Humanity's more negative aspects and motivations (evil).

And obama's claims and postulations are any more credible? No. Just sounds like a hypocrite mad because he couldn't bs steal and hose it first. The eu is another bankrupt bunch of desperation trying to come up with some justification to do the same thing. You can't compare putin to hitler without putting thesame outfit on that kenyan scud we have and adding the big yaller streak. It may not last long, but somebody telling the eu and dc to get out of their yard, go home and feed their own piles of worthless is really kinda like a breath of fresh air to plenty of people who don't get the chance to do the same thing. Ahhhh- poor barrykerry! Ahahaha!

 

The US and EU are both guilty of subversive activities in fomenting and financing revolution, and Russia is guilty of overtly seizing the Crimea, so nobody's hands are clean.
Typical recipe for conflict, and it's mostly about money and territory. Hopefully the big dogs will not escalate this any further, but if they do, then it could turn into open warfare, and possibly ratchet up to a nuclear confrontation.
All we can do is sit back and watch while wondering what the oligarchs and unseen puppet masters who controll the politicians want from it all.

He is a main figure in this, a major player. You can't talk about this and leave the main jesters out. Sorry. You would think even a pulsing cavern would know that?

 

He is not one of the main figures in this particular situation at all. He's even more irrelevant than the EU here. You just can't leave him out of political coversation it seems.

 

Well, I agree he's a joke in this but if he is calling sanctions on russia, that makes him a lot more relevant than you. His actions affect us. No one can make him shut up and quit trying to escalate it. That's making his self relevant even if he's not - his main talent

Because it's as simple as three super powers playing tug of war over a gas station, which at first did not look like it was going to lead to real conflict but now looks like maybe it will? Largely because the eu and us demand control on a continent they really can't? Now we're "finding stronger sanctions" but seem to be on a course of risking more damage to us than we are doing to them?

I'm adressing the issue that if you can only talk about hypothetical things Obama might do you should make a new thread and not ruin this one which is about the situation in Ukraine and Russia.

At least I try to get this thread (which seems ruined beyond repair because people insist talking about side issues only or primarily) on topic.

Because it's earth and they can. They don't feel like letting othet countries pump out their yard and tell them the sun is shining - they insist they aren't arabs. There is no "right" or "wrong" about it. Politicians just try to rave and paint it up to convince goofy people to let them get away with it.

 

If we were in the philosophy forum I might agree with there's no right or wrong. But we're not so 'because its earth and they can' is not a sufficient answer. Yes, there's a right and wrong about most things political, even though it may differ on the side someone's on if it's one or the other.

How can it be perceived as wrong? They were not as much of a stand alone, soveriegn country as is advertised....they were propped up. Putin has simply asserted that on their continent, they feel what they say matters more than some other countries with weaker cases and conflicts of interest just because they think they should get that country's resources. Like china taking over louisiana oil entry "to save their American comrades from the tyranny of capitalism!" Because it doesn't boil down to much more than that and politicians and pundits talking their self blue in the face to audiences who know how greedy and vapid they are, but haven't yet seen what Russia will do because they're completely determined they are going to control both countries in this and so far, they really can't. A bunch of hot air and bs, which is what the big mouths in our country going on about it are most famous for. Moronic john mccain all but said "putin thinks he's gonna have that gas station and it's ours!" - so russia should just sit back while countries crying justice, meaning "profits!" get their way? Haha "yankee go home"
