Sweet! There are quite a few of us then! Im from the Gower, near Swansea, which is quite good for barefooting as its on the coast and there are loads of barefoot surfers around, so no one really takes much notice :)

I'm here in Elmbridge Surrey, and often around central London.

By the way, Welshie, i had a barefoot hike up the Wye valley with some bf friends from the UK bf hikers back in '04.
I remember it was a bit rough, to say the least! Is that typical of Welsh footpaths?

Hey...I'm coming up to Manchester in June for the Take That concert (not my choice - Mrs loves 'em) thought I'd go barefoot to make it more fun

Yo! :2thumbsup: Its good to know, i thought i was on my own! I thought there would be a few more down your way, being near to Cornwall and all? (read your other posts)... My sister has gone down to Newquay for a hen party this weekend, im jealous! Have fond memories of Newquay holidays, very barefoot friendly being the surfer town that it is!

No worries - you're SO no alone! Yeah the westcountry is a cool place for footin' - lots of sea, sand and surfers. No-one seems to be bothered by it around here. Havent been to Newquay for years but a great place for a stag or hen weekend. Hope she had a good time!

I've been a member here for nearly a year now, and I have been barefooting for a while and haven't yet added to this thread.

I am a barefooter, in Slough, with occasional jaunts to London and Windsor. I have not seen any other barefooters while out and about - even when I attended London Pride in early July.

yay hey...another westcountry 'footer- excellent! Beginning to think I was the only one. 6.5 years with no shoes is cool - most I've done is about 3 weeks in one go. If you're up near Exeter anytime give me a pm.

I'm up near Bideford, rarely come down to that way. Used to live in Exmouth but saw the light :sunny: and moved up North. :)
