No. Not unless you're using Wine. You're closest bet would be http://gimpshopdotnet.blogspot.com/ GimpShop. Its Gimp photo editing quite but acts like photoshop (ie, the controls are almost exactly the same, you'd go to the filters menu at the top for filters etc).
To be honest I'm surprised at the number of people on this forums that use linux. So far it's 3 and and that's statistically quite high, that or the statistics are more inaccurate than previously thought.
I have a windows XP OS running now,but ive got the latest ubuntu release and planning to install it in the following days(dual boot). I tried to install it last night but kinda backed off when the i had to partition it cause ive havent got a clue how to. So is anybody willing to help out a bit?THANK YOU
You can use the partitioning software incuded with ubuntu to resize partitions and then install linux, but the easiest way to do it if you have an extra cd is to download and burn a copy of the "gparted livecd" and use gparted which is as simple to use as partition magic. It gives you an easy way to resize partitions with a gui. The one thing I need to stress is that you MUST defragment your hard drive first or you could mess up your windows partition.
why would you burn a gparted livecd when gparted when there is no need. http://www.easy-ubuntu-linux.com/ubuntu-installation-606-7.html that should help.
