It's one of my favorites. About 2 years ago I went to visit my ex's parents in some Colorado backwater. We took a fucking West Airlines [?] flight from Phoenix. One of the small motherfuckers!

As if the Chicago winds on the regular plane wasn't enough!

I was sick as a dog. I remember this old lady was counting the seconds on her watch to concentrate on something else. Inspiringly stoic.

Every few seconds: oooooooooph! The motherfucka plane would sink like I don't know how many couple miles and jump back up.

It was a learning experience. I thought: If I die, it will be heroically. Don't ask.

Since then I haven't been afraid of planes at all. It seems to me dying in the name of man's daring and techonogical ambition is quite worthwhile.

P.S. The flight attendant's smile was also GREAT. Her legs I remember as well.
