Trump's Response to COVID-19

I can't decide what's more murderous,
China's blatant dishonesty or Trump's blithering incompetence.

 

I think that theoretically, at least, people are suppose to put that money in a bank.

 

Trump's response went from, "This is just another flu." - "There are only 15 cases, and you watch, they'll miraculously disappear." - "We have it all under control." - "Go on with your lives ..... maybe go to work."
TO: "We expect anywhere from 100,000 to 240,000 deaths." - "There will be a lot of deaths this week." - "States should have prepared ahead of time for this." As the case-counts & deaths mounted - reality kicked him in the balls. Too late to the game.

PREPARED FOR WHAT??? THE VERY THING YOU CALLED A HOAX??? What's the National stockpile for, a fire drill??

From contradicting what the REAL experts like Dr. Fauci, Dr. Gottlieb, The NIH, the CDC, and others have said - to blaming state governors, the media, Democrats, the Chinese (remember HE had a lid on this Chinese virus) ………… Trump's response has been a fireworks display of incompetence, arrogance, belligerence, ignorance, and blaming everyone else. A total SH*T-SHOW.

You can't claim to be in control and on top of everything, and then point fingers elsewhere when your ship runs aground. Video taped statements and actions are irrefutable evidence for those who care to look without Republican blinders on.

 

But other grim numbers show his approval ratings up a bit, from pre-virus low 40s percent to post-virus high 40s percent--and in some polls his approval is actually tied with, instead of behind, his disapproval. The wonders of "rally round the flag" and daily TV exposure in updates. Voters are really irrational.

America is a stolen country. We like to think we discovered a wild land and made it our own but people were already here.

 

Humans didn't evolve in the Americas. All of the humans in this hemisphere came from somewhere else. If you can't defend your turf, you lose it.

They want to dominate the world and end freedom everywhere. They don't allow freedom of ANY kind in either of those 2 countries. They aren't building their war machines to let them sit and rust. Russia has been annexing areas / countries and China has been trying to own & patrol many areas of the Pacific that are recognized as international waters.

Do either of those scenarios look like they're getting ready for a friendly picnic to you?? WW3 is on it's way. And if it starts soon, we'll have "I know better than all these generals …………… BELIEVE ME!! " as our commander in chief. And he's fired or forced out many of our top intelligence people that have been working all their lives through D & R administrations, as well as badgering our top generals. He's gutted the CIA, FBI, NSA, and God knows who/what else. He praises and trusts the words of Putin and Xi more than the U.S. Intelligence community. IMO - we've never been more vulnerable.

For the Trump lemmings ………… his words and actions are recorded on video / audio tape.

 

Maybe yinz should try to impeach him again..

T minus 10...

First stimulus payments expected to go out week of April 13

Counting down until stimulus checks touch down on the tarmac... I'm hoping for Monday.

But if I'm honest, I actually worry that it isn't enough. Tons of people are out of work and $1,200 plus the $500 or $1,000 or whatever depending on how many kids you have; $2,400 if you're married... I'm thinking it will go for maybe a few trips to the grocery store. But there's rent/mortgage to think about, and internet, garbage, water/sewer... It just adds up. They'll be doing another one though, but who knows when that will happen...

 

You are saying voters are irrational because they don't waste their lives trawling the internet for orange man bad articles

 

It's definitely not going to be enough for a lot of folks.

 

Yeah. I'm hoping people have the wherewithal to utilize it in combination with the unemployment benefits, ability to freeze rent, and other ways.
