Hitler only support intellectuals who supported him or his ideas.
Alfred Baeumler, Alfred Rosenberg, Ernst Krieck, Herman Schmalenbach, Carl Schmitt, Hans Friedrich Karl Günther, - all leading proponents of the Nazis.
    Martin Heidegger -

    Philipp Lenard, and Johannes Stark
On 25 August 1914, during the German invasion of Belgium, German troops used petrol to set fire to the library of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.[1][2][3][4]

    ETC.

Well, just as one example, every paper that has come out of cern/large hadron collider saying maybe this is a supersymetry particle.

All rubbish if the theory was incorrect in the first place

Nearly ten years or operation, not one single shred of evidence for any supersymetry particles, only one experiment so far and one set of papers in regards to the Higgs field has produced anything of consequence.

There have been thousands of papers produced by now, where in every time someone does an experiment that has a deviation in results, often errors, where dozens of people publish papers on what it could mean

You are starting off with the premise that every scientific paper can never be wrong because its written by a science guy, then asking me to disprove that

Bizarre, it starts to sound like a religion when you do that

And what the hell has this got to do with Trump? I dont see him ordering US troops to burn libraries or piles of books, or set up a great firewall for the internet in his country

Gorilla. Does he have to do the same exact things in order to be a total villain? The guy is doing too many things wrong to go totally unnoticed. They're not just minor things.

He's the leadership for my country, and I find him dishonest, not trustworthy, and lacking in qualities material to governance; such as responsibility, and integrity. It's hard to measure these things, I know. But when the day ends, we have to be able to look at something and pat ourselves on the back for having a decent leader. We don't have that in Trump. It feels like something is wrong. Something is missing in that we don't have a relationship with our leader. No one does. Some people are pretending about this. It's disgusting. & it's embarrassing.

I just wanted to be clear about why people do not favor this leader. And it's not just me. He's botching relations with other countries. Don't feel left out. :) He'll ruin things with Australia too, given half an opportunity. Okay, I'm done. Sorry. :D

you're off mowing your lawn by now and I'm about to turn in early.. lol.

  6. He's denying global warming, which will be calamitous for everyone.

And just because some scientific papers are wrong doesn't mean they're a lot of nonsense. You have really smart people trying really hard to make a difference, to increase our knowledge. They're not just a bunch of assholes telling lies to try and make a buck, unlike SOMEONE I know of.

One thing I will say in favour of Trump is that he hasn't (yet) started any wars. He threatened North Korea with nuclear oblivion, but he was probably just gaming them. Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and shortly afterwards he sent an extra 60,000 troops into Afghanistan.

Duh! The idea the KKK is a coherent organization, belies the blatantly obvious fact, they are a lynch mob! Academics supported the fucking lynch mob, because the wealthy supported it! Academia is the source of all wannabe lawyers insisting the wealthy never have to pay taxes. They don't like being criticized, because they represent institutionalized corruption. They are as conservative an institution as you get, which is why militant atheists spouting nonstop rhetoric have taken over academia over the last century. The wealthy hate each other more then they do the poor, which is why they never give the poor a second thought. Increasingly, militant atheists in academia are espousing fascism.

These are the people teaching these kids, and inspiring them to vote for Donald Duck. Fox News has gained more followers than academia, because everyone knows who academics represent. Lawyers are fucking expensive, but Fox News is cheap, while the lawyers are the ones who insisted, we sell the mass media and our government. Congress has more lawyers these days then a cockfight, where everybody is a wannabe lawyer. Honest Abe was never really all that honest, but he looks like a fucking choir boy compared to Donald Duck.

Believe it or not, there is a reason when everybody's screaming, nobody is listening.

I'm not asking you to disprove anything and I'm not arguing that their aren't those academics who publish rubbish, I'm saying that you seem to be condemning the entire field of academics. Every single professor, scientist, or researcher in the world.....in general.

Do you feel The Enlightenment had or has any value at all?

I was not aware that academics supported lynch mobs.

What in the world are you talking about in regards to militant atheists?

I taught kids from Kindergarten to 12th grade for over 35 years in five different school districts and I never saw anyone inspiring students to vote for the likes of Donald Trump. I have no idea what you're talking about when you say such things. Please be specific. How are teachers inspiring kids to vote for Donald Trump?
