several. before they were listed or made state preserves. one of which was unfortunately destroyed between one visit and the next.
also got a very good sleep in one. jessep and nolan nevada, and bodie california before it was listed and organized. oh also olinghouse, the one in nevada and the one in california both.
iowa hill when it still had a post office, and yanky jim's when it didn't. several other places which were sorta kinda too. well yah, i could probably write a paragraph or two about each of them.

tnp has seen a dangerous and also endangered species in its natural habitat in the wild. not dead, and not in a zoo.
