i thought you read my post first. my post was timestamped 15 minutes before but i edited in the last part after about 10 minutes, so even if you did read it you wouldn't have read the part about optimism vs. pessimism until pretty much the exact time that you posted.

I mean yeah, some people understand things that others don't and function at a higher level of spiritual and/or intellectual and/or emotional awareness, but they probably aren't going to go around acting like they know everything. It's easy to get sucked into the vibes people give off, which may or may not be correctly interpreted. Some people who seem like brilliant, kind people when you first meet them turn out to be selfish pricks, and some people who are difficult to get to know and might be annoying at first turn out to be amazing people.
