My experiences were positive the times I took acid at concerts. I was not overwhelmed - maybe somewhat confused and in awe - but not overwhelmed. I don't know the doses, but I took a half tab for my first trip and then after that, never more than a full tab.

I have taken some "bad' acid in the past and had some bad experiences. You need to make sure you know the source of the acid and how others have fared with it. In the old days, some acid was cut with strychnine to make the rushes more intense. It tied your stomach into knots. We called it, "the rats" (because strychnine is used in rat poison). I had some bad trips where the rushes we too intense where I thought I was going to lose my mind - not much fun. Always trip with a friend in case you start to flip out. Hopefully, your friend(s) won't be flipping out too.

I snorted some powdered acid a couple of times and overdosed, so my advice is to stay away from that stuff - tabs and window pane seem to be the best - blotters I'm not to sure about - you never know. Liquid - a little dab will do ya.

I learned that you should never take acid if you are having personal problems, e.g., you just broke up with your girlfriend or your best friend just overdosed on heroin and died. You need to be in a good frame of mind. Don't trip by yourself if you can help it. You never know what's going to happen. I guess that's the fun of tripping - you never have the same experience twice. Good luck!

i had a pretty easy time handling myself during that last concert. there were some pretty intense parts but i was with a pretty large group of people. 7 of my close friends that i came with, and another like 5-8 people that we all knew that just happened to be at the same concert.

at the start of the concert though they were taking forever to start so me and my friend went to go get a drink. by the time we got it the concert had already started and we missed the start (damnit!) so then we had to push through a big crowd to get back to our friends. that was pretty intense. it was like there was a seating section and infront of that an area where everyone was standing up next to the stage. for some reason i ended up pushing through first, so i had to push through all these people who i knew were thinking 'what the hell man, we were waiting here too'. then everyone around me started morphing and i kept thinking i was walking through the seated section. i kept walking into chairs and trying to get out of the row of seats. but as soon as i got out there would just be more and more chairs. ahhh!! chairs!!! but then after i realised that there weren't any chairs there at all it was pretty easy to get back to our friends and i chilled out to the music. haha.

Yeah thats too bad about Reed Mathis leaving the Fred and going to Tea Leaf (in my opinion)...although very good for Tea Leaf Green, as Reed Mathis takes them to a whole new level...

They're pretty big in the jam band scene. I've seen them in Atlanta a couple of times. Good shows.

I love tripping at psyraves... especially at those which last for days like the VUUV festival in germany.... its fun to trip when you know atleast half of the audience is tripping.
