torrent problems

TPB is always being sued and they are always winning.. and if they don't win they go back to court.. if there is any site out there honestly fighting for the pirate.. its TPB..

 

I guess I got one of those warnings. It came as a popup from my ISP. I didnt see it personally but my girlfriend saw it. I halfway dont't believe she saw what she thinks she saw, but hearing other reports makes me think maybe she did.

 

what triggers ISP's is usually upload speeds... download speeds don't really tell the ISP much.. you could be gaming.. streaming music.. etc..

it all depends on your connection.. it's not like you can magically make your downloads faster than your connection

with uTorrent.. go to Options>Preferences>Bandwidth and set your maximum download speed.. "0" means unlimited.. which i leave mine at

its default... there are also a couple guides online on how to custom configure utorrent to get maximum download speeds.. i cannot remember any the sites.. so google it

 

setting uploads to 10kb/s is usually sufficient to allow high dl speeds

 

if i was your friend, i wouldnt download any torrents for a while


if he needs a torrent, you could always help a brother out , then put it on your flash drive / external hard drive, then go over to his house, smoke a bowl and give him it



I cant believe people are actually getting in "trouble"
