Electric Wizard are pretty much the biggest stoner/doom band around, or atleast one of the oldest, aren't they? Perhaps I'm thinking of another band, but If not, I'm no stranger to them, haha. Lately, nothing seems to beat a good mix of sabbath, zeppelin and floyd.

The only metal music I like is Metallica. And The Cult's heavier stuff e.g. 'Beyond Good and Evil' is awesome.

A lot of people are saying that Black Sabbath are not Heavy Metal.
Did you know the phrase"Heavy Metal" was actually created by a journalist reviewing a Black Sabbath gig.He said that listening to Sabbath was "Like having a load of heavy metal poured into your ears."
    Anyway,My favorite 5.
    Jackie Treehorn.
    Massacre on the Ffiords.
    Man of the Hour.
    The Tyrant Lizard Kings.
    Flat Iron.

There are quite a few theories where the term heavy metal was used first. Even if it was the first time it was used, that doesn't make Black Sabbath heavy metal. To me, bands like Blue Cheer, Sabbath and Led Zeppelin may be the originators of hard rock, but the heavy metal sound developed a few years later.
Venom isn't black metal neither, is it?
