I was surprised to see a couple people mention Shenmue. I really enjoyed it and though it wasn't in my top ten, I think everyone should play it at least once. I don't think it was quite as epic as it was pitched to be, but stil a great game nonetheless.

I thought Shenmue was pretty legit, and dreamcast was a fairly underrated system actually.

I don't remember which GTA it was, but I have a black suburban from the feds in a garage now. That was very hard to get!!!

And Scorpion's "Get Over Here" spear thing from Mortal Kombat was awesome.

I don't think I ever tried for it when it was after me. But the one on the army base was sort of easy to get on vice city.

Stealing the apache helicopter from the base was hard because it took awhile for it to warm up and the soldiers would keep coming. I think I spun and strafed them before I left the ground so they couldn't shoot me down.

    Good times!

I remember that now! I got the one from the base but getting one from an oncoming fleet during a six-star wanted level was so much fun, and so challenging. I would usually take the infernus (Lamborghini wannabe) with me because it was the fastest car, though not that sturdy, and park it in a discreet area ripe for quick getaway just in case. Then I would start all the turmoil I could. Once the Feds would show up I would start mowing them down and grab the suburban for awhile to run over as many as I could. Once things got really hairy, I would jump back in the Infernus and peel out, take a quick loop around the block to give myself time to breath (of course, they are still in pursuit) and then I would come back for the tank. I would wait until no one was at least 20 feet from the tank except for the two men inside, then I would sling the door open ready for a firefight. You have to be quick because if they make the first move, it's all over. The hardest part as is true with the Apache, is that you will NOT have a quick get away, so you better be a good driver. :)

^And a good shot, because you'll have to steer the tank and fire the cannon back behind you at the same time. ^

Now I want to play again so bad!

I remember one time I found a good spot at the airport in town to do some target practice. I was on a ramp near the chain link fence shooting at everything. Then the cops came and I opened up on them, then swat, then the feds. Whenever a copter came over I took them out with the rocket launcher.

They couldn't get at me through the fence, and they were coming in so fast they were running into each other and exploding in a massive pile up, lol. Even the tanks were exploding.

Just as I was getting tired of it all I heard a noise getting louder and louder. I turned around and was looking into the barrel of a tank. I thought how.."BOOMM!" I saw a flash and it was game over, lol.

That one tank drove all the way around the airport till it found the one entrance on the other side. I didn't even see it coming. Smart game.

Wow. That's pretty cool, that game had some good AI at times. I always did enjoy causing trouble in the Malibu club and watching the cops trying to run through all the dancers and just keep bumping into them though. haha
