My top ten may be a bit different... yet I do agree with golden eye. LOL but instead of gta 3 I'd say gta 2 I had more fun playing it back in the good ol days... (ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING) No order: 1. Half Life (PC) 2. Golden Eye (N64) 3. Commando (PC) (don't know if anyone played this? It was fucking HARD though!) 4. Red Alert/Command + Conquer games. (can't pick which one. I love all those games) 5. Diablo 1 + 2 - played the shit out of these ones... 6. Fallout 3 (PS3) 7. DESCENT! one of the best DOS games imo. 8. Starcraft (yea I know...) 9. Duke Nukem (PC/N64) 10. Serious Sam Sure the graphics sucked and shit, but it was a fun game!
BTW, to anyone who played Diablo, have you guys tried Titan Quest? Its pretty much as close to diablo as you can get without getting sued. Except instead of acts there are different parts of the world, like asia, and egypt, greece etc etc. its pretty sweet actually.
1. Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time 2. Final Fantasy (any except 12 and havnt played 13) 3. Super Metroid 4. Starcraft 5. Metroid Prime 6. Shadow of The Colossus 7. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 8. Resident Evil 1-3 and Zero 9. Bioshock 10. Devil May Cry 1 and 3
^ alot of people like resident evil 4 alot. I though 1 was to slow and stiff but resident evil 2 was amazing.
without pc - I honestly can't reach 10 Wolfenstein 3d (PC) Chrono Trigger (SNES) Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) Jumpman Lives! (PC/DOS) AfterBurner (Sega Master System/Arcade) WiiFit Plus Grand Theft Auto II The Incredible Machine (PC) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Prince of Persia (PC/DOS -- even though I still haven't beaten it)
1. Mrs. PAC man 2. Pong 3. Super Mario bro's 3 4. Crash bandicoot: warped 5. Spyro 6. Astroids 7. Need for speed 2: hot pursuit 8. Medal of honor 2 9. Crash team racing 10. Halo (Just the first one) Yeeeeeaaah...
thats why I am not a big fan of 4 or 5. They are fun, but where is the suspense? the tension? Resident Evil used to scare the shit outta me. Now they are just 3rd person shooters. P.S. remember how bad you jumped the first time you saw the creberus dogs jump through a window? fucking intense
These aren't my favorite games, but what I think are the greatest at least in my experience Diablo Super Mario World (SNES) Doom (not the Xbox one) Final Fantasy I Halo Super Mario Bros (NES) Super Smash Bro's Brawl Metriod Prime Mario 64 Legend of Zelda (a link to the past) Final Fantasy I, IV, VI were good also, as were all the metroid prime games (and super metroid), and halos, and Mario II and III for NES, and Diablo II. Sim City was pretty revolutionary also. I'll have to think of some more when I get the chance.
In any order > Final Fantasy 7 Ico Shadow of the Collosus Metel Gear Solid Resident Evil series Abes Odeysee Tekken 3 God of War Gran Turismo Super Mario All Stars (SNES) Tony Hawks 2 Freedom Fighters (PS2) Killzone (PS2)
Hey while we're here does anyone run emulators on the pc, ive got most of the old consoles running and PS1, i have a PS2 setup but my computer cant handle it, PS1 works fine though, give me a shout if you want help setting it up or i can upload any of my emulators to download if you want
RE4 was full of tension, the village and castle in particular. Regenerators? Island laboratory? Garradors? The hedge maze? The sewers? El Lago? Morir es vivir? The section where you play as Ashley? The opening village sequence? I thought RE4 had more atmosphere than any of the other games. The only thing scary about the old ones were the jump-scares like you are talking about, but that's just cheese that isn't scary after it happens to you once and you know it's coming. They cranked up the action in 4, but definitely not at the cost of tension. Hell, I remember in the first game I just straight up ran past enemies b/c it was so easy to do so, lol.
DDR (Mostly the arcade versions)(or my stepmania setup ) Jak and Daxter Super Smash Bros. series GTA 3 Super Mario 64 Bioshock Bubble Bobble Tonic Trouble Onimusha Earth Defense Force 2017 <-Craziest game ever. Seriously. That would be the list without PC games which would add Diablo 2. I have been playing it quite a bit lately. Does anyone else think that act 2 was the hardest part of the game? Duriel seems like the hardest boss in the game imo.
