Great encounter?? I think differently about that, more of issue of taste.

 

That was a good laugh to read through, I do enjoy sometimes reading these arguments you have in this subforum metallideth and I think this might be one of the longest I've bothered to read lol.

Back on topic im not really a tool fan, there just one of those bands that people go on and on about and tries to ram down your throat that arent really all that good I think they have 1 song I dont mind but I can never remmber what its called.

 

Well, they actually are really good, instrumental wise, but it's just boring.

Saw Tool in Spokane, awesome, although the sound quality in the arena sucked.

 

MY opinion on this matter

Tool are in the same class of music as great bands like pink floyd and led zeppelin, progressive music isnt for everyone thus everyone has their own opinion. I believe alot of the haters of tool dont enjoy progressive music, otherwise they would enjoy tool.

Tool have talent otherwise they wouldnt be world renown as progressive artists.

So lets leave the little boys and girls alone who feel the need to abuse this thread, these forums are based on peace love and understanding and voicing useless opinions on a band you dont enjoy doesnt show a vast amount of maturity.

Just because I dislike onions, It shouldnt give me permission to join a forum to bash people who cook with them.

I got a question..lol the song Maynard's Dick which i LOVE to death....whats the little farty noises at the end...i mean...i THINK i know what hes doing, but i have my mind in the gutter most of the time and that might not be it.

Me and my boyfriend saw Tool in Hamilton this year.
And it was pretty intense. They're my second favorite band (only to Pink Floyd...I'm sorry, but Floyd kills *everything* in my opinion...)

But other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about them. They're like the Led Zeppelin of today in the sense that every single member is so skillful at what they do.

Awesome post. I have heard TOOL is the Led Zeppelin and sometimes the Pink Floyd of today. But, I would say TOOL kills everything being my favorite, cool to see level headed people around!

Well, if you don't listen to Tool or you don't like Tool I'd probably call you a Tool. But if you listen to Tool, I'd probably still call you a Tool. Anyway, Tool is the shit, hands down. I've seen them live 3 times now and since the first time I saw them they never lived up to it. Best song musically?

Its funny, all the people I talk to except for the good buds I went to see the show with absolutely love Isis. When I talk to someone about that show they say they hated them.
