There are a lot others, but I would say Intention more so then Right In Two. I remember that was the first album I heard when I started smoking, Tool has a special place in my mind.
So does a friend of mine, but hes kinda insane. I like all of Tools actual songs(as in not the stupid baby and intermission and stuff) but I have always liked Rosetta Stoned most.
Yea, true, Right In Two is talking about people's choices going to hell or to heaven. Intension is about tripping. I think my all time favorite song would be Jimmy. I love how they change their time signatures very often which makes the song progress as if it was a circle. ANd it talks about Ohio where I was born...Lateralus would have to be my second favorite.
Lateralus has a lot to do with Fibonacci sequence, and mathematically is a very brilliant song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lateralus_(song)
It gets pretty repetative but I guess tool are alright revelutionary sure, but not something I'd listen to often
Tool is inspiration to all artists all across the planet to dive deeper into the unconscious and tear down the walls of rule and regulation. If you can't apreciate that than you lost me.
danny carrey already informed the media that TOOL has been in the recording studio...I give them at least 2 more years for a new CD.
^ thats pretty awesome and really soon for tool. Right in Two is probably my favorite off of 10,000. but Parabola will always catch my ears
Two years is an understatement... But they do all of their work before going into the studio, they don't like to fuck around. MAYBE, if we're lucky we'll hear an album soon.
I have only ever heard "Third eye" by them, and I can't decide whether Hick's or Leary's opening is better I may check out more of they're songs soon.
Um, Dennis Leary stole Bill Hicks' material on several occasions. So, Dennis Leary is a shadow of a man. Bill Hicks is the true hero. If you like Third Eye I reccomend to you that you buy the album AEnema. It'll blow your socks off.
yea, I thought he was talking about third eye off AEnema where bill hicks is in the opening. Then I thought he was talking about Dennis... Timothy Leary is a badass mo fucka fo real
Reading all this bullshit about some songs being better then others is just crap. If you were a true fan, you'd realize that each song is breath-taking in its own way. To tell the truth i was the same way, then i listened to every song they had and became completely hooked. If i "have" to pick a favorite, Aenema and Lateralus will be in my coffin when i die. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOiwaPwMZpI https://www.youtube.com /watch?v=ShiShKN_v7s
