    Today in La Paz, it's not tooooo hot. We may get a few raindrops, if we are lucky.

    Just moments ago one of the village idiots wheeled out his mufferless dirt bike from across the street and started it up. Sounds like a dying chainsaw trying to cut mahogany. Anyway, he then decides to do wheelies and spin in circles outside my gate in the street for like ten minutes... blasting clouds of sand and dust into the air from our sandy unpaved back roads here...

    How nice... there was a crash, a bang and silence. I am not going out to look. If the fool killed himself that's fine with me, but he probably hit someone's trash can.

    Speaking of wheelies and circles, there is this spinning just south of us, at it's closest approach today.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah Zen ,matey and people in some parts of the US said it was only an itty, bitty storm until the torrential rain brought floods, and the drains clogged with hail and the winds brought Tornadoes along with them too. Don't treat any storm as something not to worry about - I've been there and done that, so I know all about it !!!

    Sorry about the weather at home in Bournemouth, but also happy you are safely at home!

    With the US Open Golf Tournament this weekend at the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts this rain should help slow down the speed of the lightning fast greens
