Thunderstorms can be fun, or terrible. Exciting, yes. I like the feeling in the air as it freshens. Glad you are feeling better after being poisoned. Running will help get the last of it out of your system...sweat it out!
Yay! A sunny day for Candy Gal!!! Freedom Day also! I think you will be outside today Be careful but have fun!
Well I am glad you found him to be credible...after all these years! I hold him in the same esteem as the other guru I once shook hands with, Dr. Timothy Leary. He wrote a book called Chaos and Cyberculture which is fascinating. He went to COMDEX in Vegas to announce publication, on stage with Bill Gates ( a much younger version of Gates). Got a signed copy from Dr Tim and also shook Gates hand. It was around the time of WIndows 2.0 ! Never an off-topic thought in this thread @hotwater!
Home sweet home, nothing like it! And yes we don't want to see you eating in the swing... that would be too much fun for the voyeur types
Definitely! It worked. I felt weak and sick after my run. Then I was good an hour later Definitely! And you also have a great day
WoW! Shindig! You are too young for that Candy Gal! But I remember that show very well... always loved it and watched every episode as a teenager. It was in color

Temperatures are set to soar to sweltering highs this week after the Met Office issued an unprecedented heat warning. Parts of the UK could reach 33C (91.4F) between Tuesday and Thursday, which is hotter than top European holiday destinations such as Marbella, Mykonos and Tenerife. The mercury will remain above 31C (87.8F) during the week, with forecasters suggesting the next few days could be the hottest of the year. It comes after the Met Office issued its first ever “amber extreme heat warning”. Forecasters have warned people to stay out of the sun during the afternoon, close their curtains to keep living rooms cool, stay out of direct sunlight and drink water. Public Health England (PHE) also issued a heat-health alert, warning members of the public to take measures to stay cool and look out for vulnerable people. Marco Petagna, a Met Office forecaster, told the PA news agency: “We have an amber extreme heat warning in place until Thursday. “Temperatures are likely to peak at around 32C (89.6F), even reaching 33C (91.4F) in isolated spots across southern England, so very warm for many. “Even the more cooler areas will see temperatures in the twenties while other places could see some thundery showers.” The mercury may hit 33C this week (Steve Parsons/PA) Mr Petagna put the warm weather down to an area of high pressure above the UK. He added: “I’d say people should stay out of the midday sun, apply sunscreen when outside, be wary of any health issues you may have and make sure to stay hydrated. “As this heat remains in place, people will be vulnerable to dehydration, fatigue and nausea, so make sure to stay safe on public transport and if you are heading to the beach.”
