HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR AND. MRS KENNY!If I could afford it, I'd send them something silver to commemorate their 25th! Have a wonderful anniversary, Mr and Mrs Kenny. I love you both
Dang, I love Tanglewood. I visited mainly in the late 1960s, early 70s when living in the very northwest corner of Connecticut, Falls Village. I was there when you could still go to Alice's Restaurant in Stockbridge and see VW Buses rolling around with hippies. Watched them film a scene of the film, Alice's Restaurant, in the cemetery with the cast singing Amazing Grace - that was filmed nearby. But Tanglewood is a very special place. Saw my first big rock concert there. Started off with Mahavishnu Orchestra (John McLaughlin's band), then BB King. The Jefferson Airplane was next, recording some bits for an album. But the final act was the Who and they played the entire Tommy album, and more. What a night! Smoked my first bowl of Lebanese Hashish that night.
So happy it is cooling a bit for you AngelMama! Cool enough for Mac and Cheese, yay! I read more books than watch TV these days. We should have a book club.
Thank you Angel and Zen and all in respect o our 25th Wedding Anniversary which is today. We have both purchased Silver Wedding Rings for each other, to sit on the next finger of our Gold wedding rings. They look lovely. We are having a wonderful time here in Liverpool. Last night we went to The Cavern Club. And today we took a special 2 hour cruise on The Ferry Cross The Mersey. I hope to post some pics soon. The Sun is mostly shining and the the temperature around 20c 70f so real good. Off out soon for a lovely evening meal here at 6.30pm. We are off to my Sisters for a couple of days tomorrow over in New Brighton just off The River Mersey. I shall celebrate my bla bla bla birthday on Saturday 3rd July so a double celebration really. By for now. Kenny
Let me know if you do start that book club. My eyes can't read any more, but I listen to audiobooks all the time (currently The Stand). I watch TV very rarely; it pretty much stinks!

Nice! What did you have at that restaurant? Bob thought snails, but somehow I doubt it! And yes, Zen, let me know if you get that book club up. I do love books! It's windy and overcast in New England today. Better than those temperatures in the 90s with high humidity, in my opinion. How's the weather in Liverpool? Looking forward to your birthday tomorrow, Brother?
How goes the vacation, Brother? Hope the fun goes on. It was only 84F today, and breezy. Very refreshing after the sticky, unpleasant heatwave we had going on. Is the weather you are experiencing nice? I hope so. It's quarter past eight here, so after midnight where you are; that makes it Saturday over there, and July 3rd, so happy birthday, dear Brother Kenny, and many more! Hugs and love, Sister Angel
Same from me also! I bet he's having a wonderful time So glad your weather changed! That sure is nice weather you are having. Enjoy it!
So I declare that tomorrow is a beach day: What a difference a year makes. Now closed to land visitors, you must visit from the sea. There were over 3,000 people a day on this beach visiting the famous mushroom rock. It got pitted out. Now cleaned up, but limited to keep it that way. It's a marine haven and breeding bay for the manta rays. very shallow.
