This type of rain is much more common in April although there's always the exception to the rule. Known as the Mother's Day Flood of May 2006 we had almost 11 inches of rain in 48 hours which set an all-time record. The flood still invokes images of then Governor Mitt Romney (now Senator from Utah) inspecting the hardest hit areas of the state including The Charles River, The Merrimack River, and commenting on 'Good Morning America" that the flooding in Massachusetts is Biblical, and the last time anyone saw this much rain Noah built an Ark
....... Thank you very much for your concern there Zen. I am pleased to say that following a scan of my kidneys and a camera up my Willy they found nothing to worry about there at all. It hurt a fair bit, but not too bad. But all clear thank goodness! I was really worried because around a month ago I had 4 solid days of seeing really dark blood wee every time I went to the toilet. It cleared up and has been fine since, but something like that needs looking into! I can tell you that I feel a lot happier now than I was this morning! .......

Of course he would evoke biblical images being the good Mormon that he is Interesting how he went from Massachusetts Governor to Utah Senator... how many residences in how many states are allowed these days... Oh, I guess the answer is in how much $$$ is in your back account. Oh well.
Mostly cloudy outside, but I am sure you are shining brightly wherever you are! Zorba the Greek, quite the dance! Well done indeed Here's one back at you...
Here is an interesting graphic image... the position of the sun at any given moment and the areas of day and night across the planet... Today in La Paz it is HOT HOT HOT... at ten am it was 90 F. Yesterday air conditioning was used... sigh. To keep the blazing heat out of the castle the heavy insulated drapes must be drawn... boo. There goes the view, there goes the sun, there goes the energy flow, feng shui, and chirping birds. Up north folks hibernate in winter, here they go underground or exist in cave like conditions in summer. But the sunsets get a bit spectacular with the extra moisture in the air over the Pacific coast 75 miles west.

Good Day all! Here it is a hot morning under blue skies. The heat continues to build as we anxiously await hurricane season. I was reading today about Hurricane Odille which leveled 75% of the city of La Paz in 2014. We hope the improvements made since then prevent such a disaster. Sandbags may be wanted...
Boston averages around ten 90 f degree days per year, but it's not a fair representation of the region since the official temperature is taken at Logan Airport in East Boston which is completely surrounded by water.
