    Well for the past couple of weeks we've had cold but dry, now the weather has changed and we now have warmer but wetter !!!

    Just checked your camera, and I saw sunshine and blue skies! Happy for you!

    Now I just broke the coffee maker's carafe... boo. It is instant coffee this morning, yuck. Hope the day gets better!

    Igor returned from the markets with a new carafe! Yay!

    Coffee tomorrow.

    Also lots of fresh food for the pantry. I wash and dry everything, even the cans.

    Thank you for reminding me of the basic rules of weather.

    Today in La Paz we have sun and heat. It got to 96 F this afternoon.

    Locally Billionaire Christy Walton has launched a publicity campaign against the pollution in our bay from all the parked cruise ships.

    The bay WAS pristine, and filled with whale sharks, fish farms and small fishermen with nets out there daily. They are reporting huge globs of oil and nasty air near the parked monoliths.

    Living locally, Mrs Walton was the wife of a deceased heir to the Walmart fortune, at one time the richest woman in the world. She still has a lot of money :)

    Happy Monday morning/afternoon/evening/night to all my HIP Forum friends.

    I hope you guys are having a lovely Monday.

    This afternoon I have to go to hospital and have a camera put down my Willy and other tests.
    I have been having a lot of blood in my wee for quite some weeks now, so this needs checking out.
    :eek: Blood in urine can be a sign of cancer, so obviously I am rather worried.

    I have shaved everywhere down below, and Willy looks like a Bald Eagle right now.
    Don’t worry you guys.

    Seems like you are getting slammed regularly!

    Time to build a houseboat perhaps...but I hope things improve. You won't be in a drought this summer apparently!

    We certainly hope your test is quick, with good results. The shaving part is disturbing, but at least you didn't have a male nurse in hospital do it for you :)

    Seems there is more to the story with Christy Walton and the cruise ship protests! Apparently she has a financial interest in an offshore Totoaba fish farm in the area...

    I read the bladder from one of these fish is sold for the price of cocaine in China, leading to an unusual demand for this fish.
