She's what you might call a "starving artist" haha

She works with sculptures, and pencil as her primary mediums but she works with a little bit of everything. Last year at Champs (huge glass-blowing convention held in Vegas) she made a stunning mural in sidewalk chalk at her friends booth. I don't think she has even fully realized how talented she is yet.

She's selling some of her work at the Blue Heron festival we're going to tomorrow (anyone in western NY, get out to Sherman and check it out!)... They have blanket vending open all day Saturday, so she's putting a few pieces of hers up for sale. Probably not so much at Bisco, as I've heard they can be more strict about vending without filling out the application and getting approved and whatnot. I take care of the majority of expenses on our travels and during our shows; I try to let her keep whatever money she makes and invest it back into her artwork... try to encourage her as much as possible cause she can certainly be kind of shy about it.

Shes a keeper though. :2thumbsup: One of the most beautiful people I've ever met... and I don't mean looks. She provides the love... and the woman's scorn when I deserve it

how big is her art? just keep it in a backpack and walk around... or just sit around and draw.. if anyone asks if you have some to sell.. then show'em your goods.. i would work on necklaces during shows.. that way when people were coming and going and saw that i was knotting hemp.. and saw all the necklaces hanging from my pants.. they'd ask if i was selling it and be like "yup".. just stay mobile and she'll be fine
