the cops around here always leave me so conflicted. sometimes i'll meet one that i respect, and other times they do everything they can to try and berate and intimidate you into allowing a search. one of the cops who tried to force their way into my house without a warrant a few years ago (responding to a noise complaint and finding people rolling a joint in the backyard as they walked up to the door) was the same cop who responded when my dad had his heart attack. he had it while driving and someone called the cops to report him as drunk. cop got there and was helpful and courteous and polite. he wasn't actually the one doing the talking at my place that time, but he was still part of it. very strange.

 

in 1980 i had 2 toronto drug squad cops break my front door down in mississauga..they used a flimsy ''fleeing criminal'' clause to do so...the fleeing criminal[not me] was a friend caught in a sting at the royal york hotel that had gotten away during a bust..

..they also beat me up for attempting to block my door and run out the back while we going out to their car...they walked out my door first so i slammed it shut and tried to run out my back door....they didnt open my door in the traditional left to right or visa versa...it was laying flat on the floor of my foyer when we all left for toronto....my pregnant wife and calling my dad.....dad arrived at 52 division and i could hear him yelling anf calling the cops assholes...my dad had some serious connections...he got me out and when the cop handed me my now smashed triple beam scales my dad says ''those are to weigh baby formula you assholes''

got back from a festival yesterday... epic shit. Very intense but oh so glorious.. completely what I needed, even though the whole thing is kinda ironic. I'm gonna be writing a trip report fairly soon with the whole thing, but my entire perception of LSD has completely changed.. for the better.. even though it was pretty high in the first place...

But anyway, just got back from work and I'm really really tired, but still glowing like hell. The walk back was bliss.. anyway yeah - how are you all?
