As a Christian I will appologize for this idiot . The word of God has been recorded my men people so it is no wonder that there have been a many goof ups over the many decades in their translations and recordings. As far as proof of God and Jesus exsistance, those can only be answered by someones faith. I believe in God and Jesus but my beliefs are different than most in this reguard. The old saying "God works in mysterious ways" is true, but I preferr saying "the devil works in mysterious ways also. I believe God wants us to LOVE and Respect each other. All the wonderous joy that comes from loving friends and family is just one of the wonderful gifts that I receive from my faith. People are meant to have love and fellowship with their fellow man. Even in days of old the scriptures talk about Jesus turning water to wine, breaking bread, and various other stories of Jesus having fellowship and helping people. True there are scripture that state be not drunk with wine, however I believe the true nature of this could easily be stated as be not slaked with lust, blinded by greed, ect... Anything that drives you from your beliefs and values is wrong.
Now with that being said, I will use myself as a example. I used to drink alot, mess around alot, and ect. After I got tired of all the bs, quit drinking (to extreem excess I'm talking, I still might have one or two every once in awhile but they are far and few between), and just started really being myself. I love people in general and love to meet people, have fun with people, dance, laugh, love, cry, and yes I still get down and party with people. I work outside in the heat, cold, dust, mud, ect.. as a heavy equipment operator. I pay my bills, love my daughter, spend plenty of time with her, take care of my self, and talk/pray to God. Now there is not a damn thing wrong with me getting together with my friends, talkin, laughin, smokin a little, just us havin our little parties like we do. Like I said, God meant for people to be with people. All of the fun, laughter, love, ect that I share with my fellow man, all of this joy comes from my faith and I am a happy person. Now to all of those bible thumpers out there like I said before "the devil works in mysterious ways". All those people that say to me that I can't drink, I can't dance, I can't can't can't or I will burn. All of these are lies!! Deceptions to drive me away from true faith. Like I said people were meant to be with people and have fun, fellowship and love. I believe that Jesus knew this and that is why u see scripture of him in fellowship and helping man. To all things give God thanks. Well havin fun with my brothers and sisters is one of these things, my daughter is another, my friends another, my sacred erb another, the list goes on and on.
There isn't anything wrong with havin fun, partyin a little. Whatever your thing is then do it. My only point here is to always give thanks to whatever u believe, love and respect each other.
