To the older folk:

Set an example for the younger members. I understand that hazing is what happens no matter what, but don't go and put people down or anything! Everyone is here to share common interests with each other. Disagreeing is ok...but I just read that thread and there was a comment from Flannelwearin' Gal that said "talking to older hippies is way more fun." You guys are supposed to share the love no matter how young or old.

To the younger members:

There is no need to be intimidated by talking to an older hippie. I met one of my best friends online and he is a 65 year old hippie-and he's taught me some really amazing stuff. I understand that you want to make friends with hippies your own age which is cool-but remember that it's the older hippies that will teach you all a thing or two.

 

I'm in Texas, so I empathise.

I see you like to paint. Not too scary. Unless you do it with your own blood to worship Thor...
