Yeah, I agree with that. The Doors movie could've been a lot better.

    That's Dennis Leary, the comedian.

No apology needed, you have your opinions. Personally, I like stone's version, the drunken drugged out asshole pushing the limits, what style. Jim is a beautiful mess of a human being and we all know only the good die young. I praise Stone for his wonderful tribute, and think if anyone could make a good flik on leary it could be Stone.

But as far as films on leary, check out TIm Leary's dead, anyone see it?

Timothy Leary's Dead is much better, in my opinion, than Timothy Leary's Last Trip. Much more indepth interviews (especially in the Special Features section).

    I will buy this movie.

I see what you're saying, but I think that if Stone made a movie about Leary, he would make him look like a big acid head. By the way, have you read Be Here Now by Baba Ram Dass? That is the best book I ever read.

Actually the comedian is Denis Leary, not Dennis. ;)

Yeah I read Remember; Be Here Now, the book really transformed my life... best book I ever read to this eternal moment of the now.

I cut out paged of one of my copies of it, and put it all over the walls of my room, the middle trippy brown pages section, and made a collage with rock, girl posters and pictures of gurus and stuff like that. It's some to trip out on, I like dancing around and lookin at it when I'm high or any old moment, when the feeling strikes me reguardless of anything I consume.
