I am going to open another thread on thoughts on the USA becase this one is to big.

I am going to the Mall and several other places today.

How is China?

 

I'd say I could take it or leave it.

But I've only been to Canada and Mexico.

 

I think I'd move to Norway for the summer, and spend the rest of my days in Austin and New York.

Maybe Vancouver.

China is interesting. Met some really nice folks here.

My friend, I think I mentioned this, lived in Belize for half a year and loved it. Once I make enough money here I would love to see Central and South America.

 

The British government is becoming a pain up the arse with cash.
We're supposed to fill in forms for any transaction over 10k Sterling.
And they claim to have powers of confiscation etc
Absolute bullshit tho.Its just a inconvenience that can be simply got round by anyone genuinely "upto stuff".

we have to do that here, too. when i was working selling boats a guy came in to purchase one with cash. we had to do forms and report it. lol. so the next time they just put 9,999 down and financed the rest and paid it off in one payment.

 

Thing is they're just pedantic twats.
If they were that bothered about money washing, our whole financial district,big law firms, and most nightclubs in the country would be chopped.

It just puts people's backs up and nothing else.

 

it's just the little guy who gets the pain.

 

Sometimes it just sends em over to the other side..

 

They are just bullshitting. Finally I get pissed and ask her loudly if she makes commission. She looks startled and confused but finally her brain starts working and she says "yes".

I say "That is to bad" and leave my full shopping cart and walk out of the store.


Good for you.. that type of situation is way to prevalent here now days... the oh gee I have to work attitude.. no wonder things are in a downhill spiral

so, back on topic, what'd you buy, UA? any good deals out there? i find going to pawn shops to be a FANTASTIC place to get stuff, especially in areas with loads of hunting and fishing. with the economic downturn, it's amazing what good quality stuff you can get in a pawn shop.

 

No- I don't like it and I don't appreciate what you're bringing to the discussion so yeah, too bad...
