Well, of course i noticed, im just saying that going to jail believe it or not was the last thing on my mind. I was watching my girlfriend try to fight the paramedics, they wouldnt let me go in the ambulance with her, i could only imagine how crazy that must have been for her. I looked into one of the paramedics eyes and i really felt like i saw into him, he was a chinese guy, and he just looked like he had some knowledge. I was trying to talk to him and tell him to watch out for her, i didnt really question the cop. It was really stupid, it would have been so easy for me to avoid that if i would have been thinking a little more clearly. Raven Song You are right that is very crazy! Whats even crazier is that before she really freaked out she was looking in the mirror, saying that she looked like she was aging. She said i looked like that too, but when i looked at us in the mirror i saw the opposite. Well, we werent getting young, but we were healthy and strong, we looked powereful and knowledgable. Also she said she smelled death, which is pretty crazy, but whats even crazier is that her mom said she smelled death too when she got there. Youre partially right about it not being my fault, ultimately she made that decision. I didnt pressure her at all and even stressed that she should not do it unless she really felt right about it. But i still feel responsible, i did put her in that situation. Also i feel stupid about even letting her get close to that railing, i really was underestimating how messed up she was until she fell. That was a crazy night, the most terrifying night of my life hands down. We are still trying to process it all, and we will deffinitely never be the same. But that is a good thing, it was a really horrible night, but we learned more than i ever thought possible. It has made us both appreciate life and eachother and our familys so much more, and i would say it made us both stronger people.
Woah even her mom said she smelled death! that's intense! sheeeat Dx But ya man, even though it was crazy you both will definitely come out of it stronger in many ways! In her case though it may take several weeks - 2 months but I'd place my bets that the experience will help her in the end! Especially because in the end she let go. And the effects of letting go will inevitably permeate into other aspects of her life, and yours, in positive ways!
You are a liar. You where not arrested in the united states of america for drug "ingestion" Public intoxication happens, though generally applies to alcohol. Endangerment charges exist, and intoxication endangerment charges might. Intoxicated driving laws exist, including drugged driving laws. But you where not arrested for ingestion. Also, sorry raven~song, it IS his responsibility. It's stupid to take drugs when you don't know properly what they do. But it IS possible to tell if you're prepared for certain drugs, and it IS possible to mentally prepare someone to the point where they don't jump to get downstairs, or run around covered in blood. If you give someone a drug that they don't understand or are not ready for, wether or not you yourself understand it, while you should not be legally liable, you should NOT have any access to that drug, and have no right to talk about it teaching you anything. Boy, it ain't even TALKING to you yet, much less teaching, if you think that's excusable. But that doesn't matter, because OP's claiming to have been arrested on a charge that does not exist.
Ya that's true there aren't any drug 'ingestion' charges in the states. Do you have a written document that says what you were charged with though? cause it might of just been for public intoxication but the cop just said ingestion and implied the public part. mhh maybe this is :icon_bs: haha And no you can't be sure a person is prepared for psychedelics. What if there's a person with an underlying psychological disorder who does them and just flips shit! In that case no one would be able to predict it. There's always risk. Of course Tokapelli fucked up and should have done more on the 'research'/preperation front before doing it but once they were both high there was no going back and in the end it was her responsibility for what she did, she's not a child that a parent is responsible for. That doesn't exclude the fact that people should help other people but I'm just talking about responsibility. Also, for people who don't have the psychedelic experience one might not know or even think of ways to prepare people "to the point where they don't jump to get downstairs, or run around covered in blood." Additionally, what responsibility do the other 2 friends of his that tripped with them have? They were the one's who "brewed" the doses that were given to them. Also, they did lock them out of their house (understandably though). So if anything they should be equally held responsible for the incompetency of how the trip started/developed. Since they had the drugs (aka the power to decide if the trip was going down or not) they should've been the ones who decided if Tokapelli and his gf were both prepared enough to do it. Everyone has the right to learn and express their insights. Life teaches people everyday. Drugs don't teach you, Life does. Drugs are included in Life however.
Its funny how you call me boy, lol. You are obviously very young. Have you ever done Peyote, or Bridgessi, or San Pedro? Because you seem to think you know alot about it. Arrogance and ingorance go hand in hand. It deffinitely was talking to me, and it taught me more than i ever thought possible. yes it was my first time, im not saying i know the plant or that i have mastered it, but it speaks to anybody that eats it. You dont have to be a shaman or a medicine man to learn from that experience. I would say that it would be almost impossible to not learn anything from that. unfortunately, ingestion is a real charge. It wasnt public intoxication. Ill look it up in a minute to see if I can find anymore info on it. Its probably pretty a rare charge though, because very rarely is somebody stupid enough to admit to ingesting something without any other proof. This is actually the second time ive been charged with it, the first time i was 17, so its not on my record anymore. It was ingestion of marijuana (which is probably all they have this time too). Me and my friends were home from school for lunch, and his mom came home and called the cops, but she didnt tell us she called the cops she was all kiniving about it. So the cops pulled up, tested us, we didnt have anything on us so all we got was ingestion. All i got was a few months of probation, had to take a drug awareness class etc, no big deal. As far as the others involved, i dont blame them at all. I probably would have done the same thing in their shoes.
google "charged with ingestion" this is the very first link that shows up. These people were charged with possesion and ingestion of marijuana. Its a very common charge, usually accompanied with a possesion charge or something else though. They can even charge you with possesion by ingestion, they can say you were trying to destroy evidence by eating it (especially if they catch you eating a bag).
whoops forgot the link http://www.willistonherald.com/articles/2011/03/10/news/for_the_record/doc4d790aad13908720866592.txt Jenna Wason, 20, was charged with ingestion of a controlled substance-marijuana.
Actually, I looked it up before any of this, though I'd also looked it up years ago, and on a somewhat ongoing basis since the first time. Those charges discussed in that article will not stick, and I'm not convinced they exist. The police can issue any statement they want, but charging someone for what's already in their body has proven to be a very sticky issue in the US. It would flat out require you saying "I took illegal drugs". Saying someone's on drugs is not enough, and they can't decide you're on drugs, you would have to admit to drug ingestion. And even so, it didn't happen.... Just didn't. Got the warning sheet from the magistrate? got a release receipt? got ANYTHING? It doesn't matter if you tell us who you are, because they already go you (or so you say) EVEN got a link to your booking record on the jail/county website? What did it cost you to bond? How about a link to the law, in an online reference? "it's a very common charge".... lol.... a troll, AND a paralegal, where does this guy's qualification END?
This has nothing to do with your apprehension on nonexistant charges. I would be "rediculous" if you could answer my basic legal questions. But you can't, you're making shit up and trying to distract from that by asking if I've used cacti. No, I have not used cacti, but that has nothing to do with your imaginary laws.
^ That is why i ask if you have tried it. Im just curious how you think you would know that, you have no idea. I learned more that night than i ever thought possible. Ill post yet another link that took me a whole 45 seconds to find on google. Do some research on this "made up law" its not that hard to find tons of information on poeple that have been arrested in the us for ingestion of a controlled substance. In fact, next time you see a cop, go up and ask him if he as ever arrested somebody for ingestion of a controled substance, i garuntee you he says yes. Since the newspaper article that names i think 3-4 people that were arrested for ingestion is not good enough for you, this link is an actual legal document from the court systems of south dakota. This guy was arrested for ingestion of a controled substance, meth. They not only charged him with ingestion of a controled substance, but aslo gave him a possesion charge because they said the meth was in his system. This document seems to be saying he was trying to fight the possesion charge and lost. So that says not only can they arrest and charge you for ingestion of a controlled substance, they can also build an entirely different charge based only on that first charge. And yes the ingestion charge seems to be sticking, seeing as how he couldnt even get the possesion charge dropped. Does anybody esle find this as funny as me? how much more proof do you need kid!? ill post the link in a minute
I read like one sentence. (all of it, but one sentence before typing this, and knowing you're full of shit) He was convicted of possession based upon a urine sample. Highly unlikely, especially if you have a good lawyer. His crime was not ingestion, but possession, using his urine as "evidence" that he had possessed the drug. "ingestion" was a stepping stone to possession. I've been around cops who KNEW I was high, and I knew they knew, I just didn't say "yeah, I had, and smoked, marijuana", and didn't piss in any cups, so they couldn't do shit. This is very rare and legally dubious in the USA. This is not the charge they would go for, when it's easy to prove disorderly conduct (squad car video feed) endangerment (chasing bloody girl down the street, admitting to giving her drugs) or all sorts of other things. So no, I still don't believe you. Also, you can have all the borderline skitso moments you want, but it doesn't excuse your use of this drug, or for that matter, the attention you're claiming to have drawn to it. And of course her mom said she smelled death or whatever, she was being dramatic and colourful because her daughter was in the hospital on drugs. Shit wasn't talking to you, and you did lead someone who was not prepared into a potentially deadly situation. Now this ingestion stuff IS an invasive and scary concept, but you're full of shitttttt. *edit* that most recent case you linked was south dakota state law. Not federal.
i kinda don't believe he was arrested for 'ingestion' either roorshack, so maybe we can drop it after this.. but he did say he admitted to taking something, so maybe they did arrest him for it, and it'll get thrown out in court, or at least with a lawyer. i got arrested for using the work 'fuck' in a non threatening manner, in a normal tone and volume. they call that 'disorderly conduct' I'M ABOUT TO GET DISORDERLY
^^OMG! porkstock, are you j/k? Did you really get arrested for using the word fuck? I'm from the south, so nothing can surprise me...but still. my goodness! Disorderly conduct? hahaha
maybe you shoul read it a little more roorshack, it says numerous times that he was charged with ingestion. They also charged him with possesion based on the ingestion charge, he was trying to fight that and couldnt. You are very ignorant.
The key words, if you read that more carefully, are "south", and "dakota". But I am done, this is silly. You have failed to make any sort of argument other than: Every police officer in the United States of America arrests people for ingesting drugs, which is flat out untrue(despite your "guarantee" to the contrary), And; That you think a drug personified itself to talk to you, and that makes it okay that you made a jackass of yourself and of all drug users in general, like something out of the worst "above the influence" ad you can imagine. I rest my mo'fuckin' case.
