anyway, psyche, i think you should have posted it in philosophy interesting question.. hehe, something to clear the mind i guess like "if a tree falls and there is nobody there to hear it, does it really make a sound?"

IF the statement is true, then "This statement is false" would be true, which would make it false, so then it prolly isn't true.
However the phrase "false" can mean deceptive, not just wrong. So the pharse "this statement is false" could be false, but only because it excludes a larger clause, like "this statement if false, unless you can read english" or "If this statement is false i'm a tree hugging leftie."
So, y'see, it isn't a paradox, it's jsut a case of not knowing something...
