    He suffered from depression
    His wife suffered from depression
    His mother suffered from mental illness
    His sister was institutionalized after a mental breakdown
    His daughter Lesley suffered from mental illness
    His young son Elliot died from Cholera
    His son Carol committed suicide
    His daughter Irma suffered from mental illness
    His daughter Marjorie died while giving birth
    His daughter Elinor lived only 3 days after being born


    Otherwise he lived a full life and is heralded as one of the greatest poets of his generation :eek: :eek:
