i liked tha aviator... i havent seen ray... but i do love jamie so.....

 

I don't understand any of you... The Aviator was an amazing movie and Cate Blanchette deserved to win suppporting actress. And why does everyone hate Leonardo DiCaprio? Everyone still thinks of him as that 16 year old "heart throb" when the truth is that he has outgrown that phase do to some amazing work.


I think one of the reasons Jaime Fox got so much publicity for Ray is because #1 he was good and #2 there was the added "awe factor" that this was his first real leading role.

I spit on the oscars.. I liked DiCaprio and Depp.

I agree, the only reason I went into the aviator is so I wouldn't have to drink on the street .And I ended up leaveing ,that movie couldn't even keep a drunk person entertained.

I guess what I mean is... what about it was boring? Since I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I'd like to hear your perspective.

 

Well I may have gone into the movie with the wrong impression.I thought it was going to be about dog fighting and such.Also I could not stand the coloring of the movie.I know it was meant to look that way but I didn't like it.It seemed long and drawn out during a few parts of the movie.But I will give lenardo the fact that he was acting well.I very rarely walk out of movies but I ended up walking out of this one probly because I wasn't digging the plot at all.
